End of September.
With Yan's summer vacation over, Jiang He also ended her relaxed summer of pretending to go to school. After a month of diligent study, she rose in rebellion and took advantage of Xu Qing's absence to sneak out and spend the day with Gong Ping.
They rode balance scooters to the riverside and back, but the two of them didn't catch many fish. There were only a few small fish the width of two fingers in the little red bucket.
Perhaps the fish have become smarter, they would need to find a new spot to set up next time. With so few small fish, neither of them bothered to divide them, opting to bring them all to Gong Ping's place to be made into soup.
"How did he record all these words?"
Gong Ping's computer screen displayed Xu Qing's homepage. Listening to Xu Qing's rapid-fire rant about certain dramas felt oddly satisfying, but it's a shame that these rant videos were quite rare, typically one would appear every one or two months.
