At Jiangcheng City Station, there was an overpass.
Underneath the overpass, it provided shelter from wind and rain, and there were many pedestrians; normally, places like this had strict patrols, so one barely saw any homeless or beggars.
However, there are always exceptions, and right under the overpass of Jiangcheng City Station, there was a man over fifty years old, lugging a worn-out bag he seemed to have scavenged from a trash bin, dragging his lame leg around the area.
To call him a beggar, he neither sat with a broken bowl waiting for alms nor did he pull at people for money. To call him a homeless person, he had neither money nor income and had mobility issues, often receiving help from others.
