Xu Qing emerged from the bath in his slippers, completely oblivious to anything amiss.
"I'm done showering; you should go now."
Hearing Xu Qing come out, Jiang He subconsciously glanced at his lips then turned to stare at the computer, "I'll shower in a bit."
"Oh."
Xu Qing found a hairdryer. Since he'd just cut his hair short, he didn't need to blow-dry much. A couple of whirs, and he was done, then idled on the couch tapping away at the keyboard, fast-forwarding through videos to find material at eight times speed.
Under normal circumstances, he would either be playing cards and drinking with a bunch of friends or curled up in his blanket watching shows and playing video games.
He glanced over at Jiang He and couldn't help but marvel at the mysterious ways of fate.
Not even novels would dare such a plot.
"I'm not washing my hair today," Jiang He suddenly spoke.
"Okay."
Xu Qing responded and continued browsing his videos.
