Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 - Dying in the War for Lion City

"God! Are you letting me die here?! I know a have a purpose. It's not possible for me to die, but I can't feel my body, I'm falling. I just can't believe I was playing basketball and studying all day. If I had known I was going to die today, I wouldn't have wasted my time this way. I now feel as if sports and studies are garbage to me, just a waste of time. I didn't know I only had 15 years on earth to fulfill my purpose. It just doesn't make sense. I was supposed to study, I was supposed to have fun, but that is really meaningless now. I was supposed to do something extraordinary. No, I didn't really have a purpose.

"God! You can save me! Save me! I know you can!" He cried out. But it was in vain, there wasn't a response for him.

In just 2 minutes he was going to die. So far a big army was shaking the sky and the sea, in complete control over his territory. The fact of being alive was still a mystery for the Prince of "Lion", but that wasn't important.

Prince "Waverus" could only think on what happened a few hours early. An angel from heaven visited that beach, so he called his entire army to shake the area to demonstrate who was the ruler of the region. They were united and ready for battle at any time. That kid or his family didn't represent any thread, but if the Prince of this territory would move, then, he would shake anyone's Faith in God.

Why would an Archangel come to Lion City, when they normally work on big cities where armies of hell prevail working with politics, religion and powerful men ruling the world of men.

Every single city in the world earned its name based on a previous spiritual fight that happened between angels and demons. The prince remembered the last great war that happened 500 years ago that destroyed the city after the eruption of the Momotombo Volcano and the Ultimatum of a Big earthquake that meant to stablish his reign for a thousand years, and he wanted that to continue the same way. This was the second largest city of this Country and he managed to be the second highest rank demon in the region.

Only one minute away from his death.

Suddenly, thousands of angels were in front of the demon army. Prince Waverus was facing Archangel Gabriel, who was in front of the army of heaven he was commanding. Prince Waverus was now shaking, why in Hell would Gabriel be in front of him. There's not any way I can thrive here, but this is my territory, I am the prince here.

Waverus asked Gabriel, "Why did you come here? Did you come to recue him? That insignificant human?!"

Gabriel and his army only stared at the kid, in his mind he was able to listen to what Ab-El was saying.

"Hey! I am the authority here, answer back when I'm talking to you!" Prince Waverus said.

Gabriel was trying to remain calm, and said "Silence! Let's hear what comes out of his mouth"

Ab-El: "You are letting me die here! I trusted you! You were supposed to help me! But you are not listening, you are not answering me, you are not even looking at me dying here. What does this suppose to mean? Are you even real!!?

Prince Waverus said "I told you he was an insignific..."

Gabriel pulled a long sword of fire and pointed it to Prince Waverus, I said "Silence!

Waverus didn't know that Gabriel didn't have the authorization to take action against him or his army, but he was afraid of starting an unnecessary battle to could dethrone him. So he only raised his hand and stopped the waves that were killing the kid.

At that point, Ab-El felt how the storm had stopped, but didn't want to keep the suffering, so he decided that it was the time to die and started inhaling the water and got filled with it, until light left his eyes and died.

The army of demons started celebrating that victory. The kid tried to kill his cousin feeling completely guilty and was also sure that his destiny was hell. He had also doubted about the mercy of God. His last words were just about hesitation about the mere existence of God. He was convinced that those that hesitate about going to heaven, would definitely go to hell.

Gabriel was certainly not expecting that. The kid was dead and soon, the fishermen were going to return to pick up the body.

"God, I thought you were going to save him. I thought the fishermen were going to rescue him. I don't understand, that was just a kid, and you allowed him to die and hesitate about you. You also allowed the enemy to see that in front of your army. I won't be able to fight, I'll have to wait for the body to be retrieve and then leave"

"I told you! You thought you were going to witness a miracle?! How naive are you?! You better leave! this is my territory!

Immediately, Prince Waverus started the storm once again and dragged the body of Ab-El to the depths of the sea where it wouldn't be found.

The exact second when Ab-El died, both armies experienced how time stopped. They where used to live outside of time, but not when they were on earth. Only in Heaven or Hell. This is when they could hear a voice, the voice of a dead boy.

Completely dead and surrounded by darkness, the kid started saying the following words:

"Forgive me! I have failed you! Forgive me! I'm a failure. Forgive me! I have disappointed you! Forgive me!"

Every time he cried out the word "Forgive me" was as if the atmosphere was changing around the armies. The prince of Lion felt threaten by a Terrible Power that was not coming, but expanding, surrounding everything around. And a Big Shining Power that surrounded both armies suddenly entered the sea; in the depths of the sea vanished, like seeking for the body of the kid.
