Elinore has known and loved Trent for eight years. Even though Trent was distant from her during the whole time they were married for two years, she still felt happy.
But at this moment, Elinore suddenly felt heartbroken.
Trent couldn't even love her back no matter how much she had tried. Does she still need to continue making him love her and suffer?
"Trent, she killed our child and framed me for cheating. You have to believe me, not her. Now that I have just had a miscarriage, you dared to protect her and push me away. Did it ever occur to you that I am your wife?"
Elinore burst into tears.
Trent's eyes showed some emotions for a moment. As soon as he wanted to come up to help Elinore, Irene suddenly stood up and went ahead to offer Elinore some help.
"Elinore, don't do this. Trent didn't mean to. Let me help you up."
"Get out of here!"
Elinore glared at Irene angrily. The hatred in Elinore's eyes was so intense that Irene dared not to come forward for a moment. But as Irene thought of Trent who was behind her, she bowed her head and said sympathetically, "Elinore, I know it's hard for you to lose your child, but you are still young and there will be more opportunities in the future. As long as you take good care of your body, you and Trent could still have children."
The word "child" once again triggered Trent.
His eyes suddenly became cold, and he said to Kristy, "What are you doing standing up? Get her up! From today on, she is not allowed to go out, let alone see visitors without my permission!"
Trent walked away angrily as if one more look at her would make him lose control.
Kristy hurriedly picked up Elinore, only to find that there was a big pool of blood behind her.
"Ma'am, you..."
Elinore naturally knew what was wrong with her.
How Trent pushed her just now was not lightly. Her back was aching, and she must have been really hurt. She just had a miscarriage, and her uterus might have not been clean because what just happened now likely caused her to bleed massively.
She didn't want to show Irene she was weak. She didn't want to give Irene a chance to hurt her again.
Elinore held Kristy's hand tightly, as she was in so much pain, and said slowly, "Kristy, help me to bed."
"Ma'am, you can't do this. Doctor Dunn, Elinore may be bleeding badly. Please help me!"
Kristy looked at Irene who was in front of her.
Irene hurriedly came forward and held Elinore's arm tightly.
Her strength was so strong that Elinore's arms were numb and unable to break free. Irene turned to Kristy and said, "Kristy, I can't do it alone. Go and call another doctor. I'll be here watching Elinore."
"Oh, good!"
Kristy did not doubt her and ran away quickly.
"Don't go!"
Elinore tried to stop Kristy, but it was too late.
After Kristy left the ward, Irene squeezed Elinore's chin, sneered, and said, "Are you bleeding a lot? How is it? Does it hurt? Elinore, you said that your child was three months old. How lonely he must be on his way to Heaven alone. Don't you love your child very much? Why don't you join him? When you die, Trent will come back to me. Do you still like Trent very much, even though he just pushed you right now?"
Irene's words were as sharp as a knife stabbing Elinore straight in the heart. When she was weak and unable to fight back, it was when Irene decided to make a move.
