[Sector C- Gila Town: Western Side]
The sun was shining quite brightly making this scorching desert much more hotter, making the people drink more water than usual. And there in the gates of the town, walked a figure covered in a black Cloak. Their face was covered in the shadow of hood that the robe had.
"Seems like we have ourselves a visitor." said one of the sheriff's in the town. The town was a dream for those who love western cowboy movies. But you have to be careful in this town, this town is like what the name of the town states.
As soon as the ambiguous person entered the town, that person started to walk to the nearest saloon but then got stopped by the sheriff. The sheriff put his hand on the person's shoulder. "Why we have a fine lass over here. What's your name?"
There was no answer, only silence. The girl? Didn't say a thing, she just stood there. She then took a step forward and in the same moment, a gust of wind made the cloak move freely with the current of the wind gently moving with it. "No answer huh? guess I'll have to do this!" his hand clenched the cloak as he swinged his arm outwards.
The cloak was removed. The sheriff was well excited but the people of the town gasped. They were in disbelief, how could she get in? And there stood a girl. Black haired with bangs that covered but still revealed a bit of her forehead. She also has crimson eyes. She was wearing black thick leather jacket while wearing a thin white shirt underneath. The back of the jacket reached all the way down to her thighs. She also wore black jeans. Pretty bad clothing for the weather in this town.
"heh! I thought so." said the Sheriff letting her cloak fall.
"Couldn't I atleast not get shot-" she spoke to soon there. She felt the barrel of a gun get pointed at her head. She felt it since it was pressed against her.
"You can't shoot me you know." she chuckled a bit.
"you're not a bounty hunter."
"I am one. I'm a sheriff and a bounty hunter" said the Sheriff still having his revolver pressed against her.
"I see...Look let's settle this with a old fashioned duel, what do you say?" implied the girl, she didn't want to die here so easily especially after being caught.
"So be it. Atleast I still get your head."
And so it began, they both were now standing in the middle of the town. They both then turned around as they had their backs pressed against eachother.
"Ten paces got it?" asked the Sheriff.
"Alright. One"
"two"
"three"
"four"
The people were anxious to see who was gonna be victorious.
"five"
"six"
"seven"
"eight"
"nine"
For the girl, time seemed to stand still. As well for the people.
"Ten!"
They both turned around drawing their guns. The sheriff his Revolver and the Girl drew a rather long and bulky revolver. They both pulled the trigger...after those gunshots there was silence in the country.
"Agh! I missed damn it!" the sheriff then fell to the ground, and there girl stood there unharmed. He was bleeding from his left shoulder. Then the girl put her hand on her waist and drew the same bulky revolver and shot him in his right shoulder.
The sheriff groaned in pain as he lied down on the ground. The girl the walked up to him putting both revolvers back in their holsters.
"I won't kill you here. I've actually never killed anyone." the girl said looking down at him.
"Liar! you've killed dozens by only wasting six bullets." the sheriff's claim seemed to be quite far-fetched, nobody would believe that. right?
"Ugh... this again" she sounded a bit irritated about that.
"Just because they start shooting me while they're perfectly lined up doesn't make me a psychopath. But you..." she got on one knee and her hand reached for his neck.
"you're just greedy." she pulled out necklaces that he had under his shirt. some of them were shining in silver and some of them were gold. She then pulled them out breaking the clips. The sheriff just looked at her in fear.
"Aw come on! don't give me those eyes of despair. I don't kill people like I've just said before. What are you gonna do with all that money that you're gonna collect?" she asked him slightly tilting her head.
"n-not sure." the sheriff answered.
"You're not even from here are you? whatever I'm done with you." she then stood up dropping his necklaces on him. She walked up to her cloak that was dropped nearby. She grabbed it and then put it on.
"I'm leaving, I hope you're happy." And so the girl left and nobody tried fighting her. they knew that even if they tried they would lose ending up with a bullet in their arm.
[9:37 p.m Sheriff's office]
"Where is she headed to next?" this wasn't the sheriff talking but rather a black haired man wearing a long blue leather jacket with white stripes on the edges. He wore a black shirt underneath and he also wore black pants.
"Well, This is the first town you come across if you're from sector B" said the sheriff but this time his arms were bandaged up.
"Did you atleast get to hurt her?" said the man looking at him with his piercing blue eyes.
"I...I dueled her and I couldn't even kill her.." the sheriff was disapointed but the man didn't seem to react the same. He clenched his fists in anger and he then reached for the collar of his shirt and yelled.
"You good for nothing bounty hunter!" he said it with such aggression it was intimidating.
"B-but sir I've tried..." the sheriff wasn't sure what to do in this situation. but soon he was gonna find out the truth.
"It doesn't matter! she isn't dead and if she's not dead...then you're not alive either." he drew his gun with his free hand and shot him, in the head. and after that people believed the girl had killed the sheriff. It was believed that she didn't leave the town but instead camped out of town and somehow entered the sheriff's office.
The girl's name is Calamity Avery.
