Chapter 5 - Fight

"So if there's anything you need just ask, Lane and I will be more than willing to help you out." Dean assured Lucy as they walked out on the snowy grounds of the front of the school. Lucy smiled with gratitude, "Thanks guys, I really appreciate it."

Lane smiled before waving to them, "Gotta go, I'll see you guys later." she left.

"Keep talking, you're gonna get hurt!"

Dean and Lucy heard. She saw as Chuck Presby and Jess were getting in each other's space. In a swift moment they were at each other's throats fighting.

Dean immediately ran in to break it up. "Woe! Hey guys!" he ran up to them. "Guys come on break it up!" Jess punched Chuck in the face. "Hold it man get off him!" Dean said before about to get whacked by Jess himself. "Woe!" Dean said. Jess ran up to him trying to knock him off his feet.

"Hey! Get off me man! I'm not fighting you!" he pushed Jess off of him. "Jess!" he got him to snap out of it. Jess just gave a cocky look. "What the hell is your problem man." Dean said.

"Nothing." Jess exhaled.

"You saw it was me Jess why'd you keep punching." Dean said; not buying into his bullshit. Jess shrugged like a total asshole, "Had momentum."

"Well I was trying to help you."

"I don't need your help but," Jess pat his shoulder, "thanks for offering." Jess was about to walk off when he stopped right in front of Lucy who had witnessed the whole thing. She looked at him clearly not proud of him for doing it. "Chuck Presby. Really."

"What? He's a total jerk." Jess shrugged it off.

"--I don't need you to fight people for me Jess! I told you that because you asked! I didn't think you were going to try and fight him!" she snapped, "I don't need you fighting my battles!"

Jess looked at her for a minute; gazing at her frustrated appearance, "You know you're cute when you're angry."

"Jess!" she said gravely; thinking it wasn't funny.

"What! You think I did that for you?" he raised his voice. Lucy looked at him ready to retort before stopping the train of thought, "..You didn't?"

"No." Jess looked at her, "He started shit with me." he looked at her, "Don't go giving yourself too much credit." he said before walking off. Dean watched as he did before walking up to Lucy. "You know him?" he asked.

"Unfortunately." she muttered as she watched him walked across the street.
