Luo Si had made her way back in the meantime. Belatedly setting foot in the outer disciplines living area. Her escort was the first to grab her attention without difficulty for anyone. Squatting together the players and Min kids came a little closer while mending their wounds, each to their own.
Casting a traitorous look at Luo Si in union, Luo Si could feel their comradeship. She walked up to them, providing movement within the group.
"Your stares make me feel like a bachelorette, with all your ogling eyes." She smiled with closed eyes, smelling secrecy from miles away. "Spill the beans, I don't bite, usually."
The youngest one of the twins sprung up. "W-We are telling y-you nothing. Find it out yourself. Bitch."
"Aww, did the little boy grow some pubic hair?" She retorted in an unchanged voice. "Don't worry little kid. Mama's very good at guessing. I am actually so good that people might think I 'm from the future." She chuckled.
Her serious joke was meet with dead-pan expressions. Seeing her joke hit the wall she continued. "Alright, let me guess. You were enticed by the qi rich shacks and got your a**es served by the owners."
John Cage exploded into flames. "No shit sherlocks. It doesn't take Einstein's brain to figure out that much
"I know right? But it's still a funny even if I have to imagine it." Thanks to the spiritual sensitivity she came to know that the 10 small houses were special, yet nobody tried their hands on them. This meant, that they were either dangerous themselves or belonged to someone dangerous. Seeing the idiot trio having given up already, she deduced the later. That and the fact that Xinyue was leaning against his door's frame, casting funny eyes at them.
"But all this wouldn't make you so secretive, and rather entice me to search my own doom, right?" Her next assumption made the others brake out in sweat.
She showed her teeth as her smile transformed into a mocking grin. "You must have figured out that there is no 'Log-Out point' around here and are in a pitch of whether to return or not. Am I right?"
Her next guess hit the nail in the coffin. The trio was lying defeated on the ground. Yet the last to say a word spoke up. "Yeah, but so what. Since this is our problem, this is your problem as well. Since you are so smart, why don't you come up with a solution? We, the elites, would be more than happy for you to share some insight."
It was indeed a problem. And Luo Si knew it like the back of her hands. It had been very difficult at the beginning, especially for the 'elites.' They had to run back and forth a dozen times at least before they came across a solution. Thanks to the tokens that was possible if no one lost it. It was a coincidence that was a necessary, finding fortune in misfortune.
Now that she was reminded of the return, she was plagued by it as well. The solution was nothing she could do in a blink of an eye. Well, she could, but she would also take a super realms fist to the face in exchange.
And what plagued her the most that she had yet to pay her due of months' rent.
Luo Si found her calm though. 'A day or two at most. What can possibly happen that I cannot face?'
"Don't kid yourself. Like I said, Mama's got a plan." Her wrist supported the head in a squatting position.
She stood up and made her way towards the lingering energy sources. Eying them like sitting ducks. Xinyue readied himself, seeing race winner coming his way. "Do you also want to try your luck? I will be honest with you. I am impressed by the fact that you beat an inner discipline like Jun Din, but if all you can do is run, you are better off accompanying the rest."
"Young one, your advice is as worthless as your run-down abode. This one has no use for either one." She said without betting an eye.
"Hmph, search your doom if you want." A vein bulged on Xinyue's forehead. But when he saw Luo Si stopping in front of her target he broke out in laughter. "That house belongs to the 2nd rank. What kind of stupid are you? Holy shit, maybe Jun Din was right, maybe you are blind."
His last sentence was reasonable. The shack Luo Si stood before looked very beautiful compared to the rest, aside from the first room. Crystals hung down all around and the smooth and reflecting surface would blind any girl. However, that was not the reason she had picked this miniature house.
But the feeling of her vein reacting to it. The crystals were not real crystals, but icicles indicating that this abode was sustained with the ice element.
The Door was bashed twice as if the challenger wanted to break in rather than ask for a duel.
The door opened before the 3rd bang sounded. Gassy air rolled out under a blinding light. The troupe that had followed Luo Si averted or covered their eyes, while Luo Si did nothing the like, looking into the sun as if it was the most normal thing to do. Now that the door was open and the icy qi gushed out, her vein reacted more than ever.
The light was overshadowed by the figure standing at the entrance. The light diminished slowly giving the shadow its color in return.
When the others could finally endure a glance, their jaws hit the floor.
"Damn that little girl is cute." The younger sibling blurted out.
"I know, I know. But don't get deceived by her appearance. The cuter they look, the harder they bite." John Cage had fought man and woman equally to get his title. Especially his half-blood sister. He was speaking from experience.
The owner that stood at the entrance turned out to be a young blond-haired girl with fair skin as much was seen. She was packed into thick peltry clothes and her small gesture of breathing into her gloves made every man's heart melt. "Yes? How can I help you?"
Her voice was like that of an angle, moving even the koi at her words.
Luo Si, not swayed one bit by the other, flatly made her declaration. "Get out, otherwise this one will have to wipe the floor with thy face."
