You're the One: Take Two!
Prologue: You're the One: Plot for the Protagonist!
••••••••••
Once upon a time, in a story world only known as "You're the One," there's a little girl born with blistering red hair. Her mother, Omega Lupa Faut of the De Cruix Tribe, bless her soul, always kept her youngest daughter's flaming locks hidden. Omega Lupa was terrified the family would be ruined once more with hair as vibrant as a rose.
Red was not considered holy or admirable in the tribe. It's long been since the Angel of Death roamed their planet for its destruction. A long lineage to preserve the bloodline and awaken the Angel of Death.
To be born with red hair was an omen of death, the tribe believed.
It's a color that cycles into blood.
A color destined for ruin.
Omega Lupa taught her youngest daughter, Ilaria, to hide her hair. She explained in thorough detail what to do about hiding her boastful locks. To have such a tragedy force them out of their tribe and home, Omega Cirillo and Omega Lupa couldn't allow such a shameful disposition be bestowed for their family's pride.
Each wee morning, Ilaria and her mother would wind the hair into a ponytail and braid her hair into bun. Then, a blonde wig was placed atop the passionate auburn color, hidden away from the world's eyes. Ilaria always saw herself as a blonde, even when she knew her hair was red. Ilaria never disobeyed her mother or father in fear they would be horribly mad with her. Eventually, Ilaria grew to hate the wig as much as she hates the beta's daughter, Nyx, but unlike Nyx, her real hair could do some permanent damage.
When Ilaria's father is offered to partake in the De Cruix traditions and must accept the invitation to become a new warrior of the tribe, the Faut Omegas are thrilled. With this new development in the Faust's lives, Ilaria and her sisters start at a new school.
Unfortunately for them, this is where Nyx rules.
Nyx Beauregard has had everything jaded to her since birth. She knows she deserves the best, and even the tittle of Luna. Nyx runs the school and forces out anyone who disagrees with her commands. The the school as her paradise, Nyx only longs for the future until her dream is shattered by a cutesy blonde named Ilaria.
Ilaria captures the attention of not only the alpha, but Nyx's older brothers as well! Ilaria lives through so much pain and confusion that she never has a moment of peace. Ilaria is so consumed in possibilities that she doesn't fathom Nyx's evil deeds.
The silver haired villainess, so blinded by her envious feelings and greed, she pulls a sadist prank. This ends in the rejection of her mate.
Nyx, so overcome by hate and grief, she is determined to have her rightful place by her mate's side.
While Ilaria decides between Vikor and Zadkiel, the top warrior and the alpha, Nyx allies with the neighboring tribe's alpha to overthrow Ilaria.
In the midst of trashing Ilaria's prom dress, the villainess' plans are foiled. Nyx Beauregard and a subordinate is killed by the claws of the alphas. Her life is ceased to be known while Ilaria's story continues on...
.....
Ilaria discovers she has a mate of her own, and is tormented by the same thoughts she's felt with Zadkiel. Because of this, Zadkiel and the villain duel to the death.
Ilaria becomes heartbroken at the result.
Ilaria longs for her dead mate, grieving in the worst possible way, and finally succumbs to her induced torture.
Ilaria commits suicide.
From this death, the alpha is torn apart. The tribe is drowned in debt to others, falling to ruin at the hands of its enemies, and at the end, as Alpha Zadkiel De Cruix kneels beneath the stature of another alpha, he accepts his fate.
The sword rang down as a guillotine.
THE END.

"What a stupid plot!" Esme groans in annoyance. Her pale hand shoved the finished book inside her tattered book bag. "There's no magic, no romance! I mean, how is Ilaria supposed to be happy if her mate's dead? This book makes no sense and has so many plot holes I could name it Swiss cheese!"
Esme shakes her head in disappointment while walking down the steps of her high school. She had been so excited to finish it, especially after that hateful Nyx was killed, only to be depressed in the end.
She had been waiting so long to finally get her hands on a copy of "You're the One." It's the novel everyone had been dying to read since the manga came out two years ago.
After the author allowed their work to be printed and illustrated up to a certain point, they ceased all progress until the manga was finished.
Now that the online work was published, novel finished, and manga selling, Esme saved up the last of her money and went to the nearest book store to purchase the said item. Sadly, after four stores, Esme was about to give up and go home.
Fortunately for her, she happened to be walking by two young women who had came from a cafe nearby and drop something as they past. It was a book with a royal purple cover and silver calligraphy. Esme bends down to pick it up, curious as to why the woman hadn't seen the book fall from her opened bag.
After inspecting the title, Esme stands and turns around to call for the woman.
Yet, they've vanished.
Startled, Esme blinks and looks back at the cover again, attempting to read the scripture.
'You're the One'
Esme's eyes widen and she ran straight home.
That had been three days ago, and Esme did her darnedest to read all of it before school ended.
From the disappointment lingering in her baby blue irises, Esme no longer held the novel to the assumed stature.
'How could the author do that?!' Esme thought as she walked home. 'How could the author give us a Shakespearean tragedy with a vulgar end? This can't be the end, it just can't...'
With a disheartened sigh, Esme made her way through the alleyways and back roads in order to get home. It wasn't a long walk, but the toll of the events from 'You're the One' truly took its toll over the brunette.
A frown mauls her lips. 'Why did Ilaria get such a brutal ending? All she wanted was to be loved and love. She never did anything hurtful.. except for accidentally offending Nyx when they first met. Had she not done that, maybe everything would have turned out okay..' Esme bites her lip at the thought. 'No, it wouldn't have because Nyx and Zadkiel are mates and Zadkiel's always wanted Ilaria since they met. Maybe if Tariq wasn't Ilaria's mate and fell in love with Nyx, everything would have been stable. Enemy with enemy,' Esme wondered, licking her lips.
While Esme thought about the events that could keep the villainess and the heroine from becoming enemies, or at least from meeting death. With Nyx's stubborn and aggressive personality against a meek and manipulative one is quite a show, but how would they do together? Esme believed if the two hadn't been fated to hate one another, they could have been the best of allies.
The petite brunette is so focused on her thoughts that she doesn't even realize she's wandered into the road until she stares, dead straight, at a motorcycle.
The collision's enough to take the poor girl's life.
