Chapter 1 - Taken

I was no ordinary person. I had special needs and I lived with my adopted mother, Jeanette and my father was my mentor, Richard Bernard Fleming.

Sadly, on December 16. 2016, my hero - Advocate - friend, who again was my adopted mother, Jeanette, passed away peacefully in her sleep and was surrounded by family and by a few friends she had. I, unfortunately, wasn't able to attend because I was somewhere else in the world. I was in Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom and that changed my life. It turned out to be the worst place to be. I thought I was going there on vacation but sadly, I was there to be put on an auction block. All I can remember is, before Jeanette's death, I told her I loved her and if she passed away, I'll do my best in life. She agreed and said I love you and smiled at me as if she was going to say, she was proud of me. That was the last conversation I had and it tore me up because I couldn't attend her funeral.

As I was in England, I sat on a stool. It was wooden and very uncomfortable. The Auctioneer who was getting people to buy me was named, Adam Lupinski. I was scared because I was chained from my wrists but free to walk with no chains on my ankles. I was barefoot and wearing only a white dress that looked like a nightgown with straps for the shoulders. As I was sitting down, Adam shouted out:

"Asian female, in her 30's! Who is willing to buy her?"

No response. "$500.00?" asked Adam. A woman who had pale-skin, yellow teeth and, light brown hair with dark blue eyes, raised her number. It was for a $1,000.00!

"Any other takers?" Asked Adam. Awkward silence and then, "Alright, everyone. Disperse! The Asian woman is bought. No questions.".

Everyone except the woman left and Adam said good luck to her and left her to be with me. The woman stood about 5 foot 11 and she looked me over from head to toe. I was a little nervous but she told me to relax and told me to call her, Lady Julia and Ma'am. I nodded. After checking me, she puts a collar on me and tells me to follow her to a Rolls Royce gold car. I follow her and she tells me to get in. I look around then I get in the car. She tells a man who appeared to be a chauffeur to head straight to 5th Street and Ludwig Avenue and to a black mansion that's near a dead-end street.

"Yes, Miss Julia." The man answered.

As we drove away, I fell asleep and didn't move until Miss Julia told me to wake up. As I awakened, I saw the mansion and some men including a few women and a couple of girls that looked 21 years old and up. I saw one man in particular and he looked like my favorite actor from Vienna, Austria. I was happy because I thought it was him but it wasn't after all. As we entered the driveway, the man who looked like my favorite actor, came to the door where I sat. He opened it first instead of the door where Miss Julia was sitting at.

"This is weird. I thought he'd open her door first." I thought to myself.

The man who looked like him, smiled and he had beautiful white teeth though his canine ones looked like they were sharp but not like a vampire's fangs. More like, a German Shepherd dog's teeth.

"Do not fear me, little one." The man told me. He even sounded like my favorite actor too. I nodded at him and looked down at his feet. He stood about 5 foot 7 and weighing 195 pounds and had some muscle in his arms and stomach but all that was covered with him wearing a suit like a tuxedo. As he looked at me, his eyes were brown and it was cool because they turned light green from time to time. As I was about to get out or the car, the man took me aside and said something that I'll never forget:

"My name is Ander van Flame. This is My home. You are Mine not Miss Julia's. Listen and follow My rules and obey Me. I'll tell you the rest later on. Am I clear, girl?". As I look down, I say, "Yes Sir.". He then patted my head and kissed it.

"Good pet." Ander said and that's when my life began to change from that the moment on.
