-Draco-
I guess you could say I was frightened. There was only one man that could make me feel like this and that man was my father.
The only time he came to visit me is when I haven't done something that he's asked me to making me suffer the harsh consequence.
Unfortunately for me, he was visiting today. Just as I thought it wasn't ganna be atleast a few months before he decided to show up, god damn it.
------
I was in my Dorm with Blaise and Goyle, they seemed to be having a rather amusing conversation but I didn't bother including myself.
"Oi, mate. You alright?" Blaise said as he put his head down, his eyes still on me.
"yeah, I'm bloody great" I replied sarcastically, laughing at myself. All my thoughts were on one thing, my father's visit. "aye, what time is it?" I shot up realising it was later than I thought.
"ten mate" goyle answered looking down at his second hand watch.
My eyes widened, I was late. Now he's sure to beat me due to my lateness. I was horrified, frightened of my own father. I was pathetic.
------
I stopped at the doors leading to Dumbledors office, I took a deep breath as i reached for the door handle.
I manged to open them to see my father and Dumbledor talking to one another, if Dumbledor stayed maybe my father wouldn't have the chance to lay a finger on me. I felt more relaxed.
"Greetings Dumbledor" I nodded my head out of respect, then I looked at him, the man I could only fear and hate at the same time. His gaze intimidated me, his long platinum blonde hair resting on his shoulders and his sort of shaved beard resting on his devilish face. He looked like a drunk.
"father.." I nodded my head out of nothing but fear, I had no respect for that man.
"Took your time, Son" he gritted through his teeth. It was taking almost everything he had not to beat me.
"Apologies father, I was studying and lost track of time" I lied, my father only cared about my grades, not me myself. The only reason I was here was to work for the ministry of magic as a buissness man, that's what Malfoy men do. I thought if I use my studies as an excuse he wouldn't beat me as hard, but there was a possibility he would see right threw me.
-flashback-

I screamed out in agony as my father stomped on my hands probably crushing my bones judging on how hard he was stomping.
"this is your mother's fault, boy" he snickered turning over at my mother who was being made to watch this vile scene. "she talked back to me, now you have to suffer the consequences" he gritted through his teeth, my father would never physically hurt my mother, she was a woman and he could never harm a woman, but his son? His own flesh and blood was worth a penny, or even less.
More agonising screams accured as he started kicking my side harshily, I begged him to stop but it only caused him to kick harder.
"you can't blame anyone else but your mother" he glared at her pausing for a moment. "she's the reason you're in this state".
-end of flashback-
I started to slightly shake remembering his feet kicking against me.
"Now, Draco." Dumbledor said giving me a firm look. "you might not like this very much but I believe it will improve your lack of responsibility." he said holding his hands; placing them on the table.
My father took a step forwards as I flinched. "me and professor Dumbledor thought it would be a good idea for you to be a prefect." Lucius snarled giving an evil smirk.
My eyes widened as my lips slowly parted, but I knew I couldn't deny because it was my father's idea. "I see" I put my hands behind my back as I opened my legs a little lifting my head slightly to avoid eye contact with either one of them. "I'll glady exept".

-Enola-
I couldn't say I was a bit homesick. Those times where I was able to go outside in the warm sun, in my parents arms whilst they continued to tell me they loved me, the warm socks that I woke up to each morning, the freshly made food. I missed it all.
I was walking alone down the carved hallways, I didn't notice how elegant it was until now, I never appreciated it until now. I could see how the walls arched creating a hole to look down at the floor below, the classrooms in the side of the walls that you entered through dark medieval doors with big circular door handles. The ceiling being as high as the sky, you could probably fit a giant here. The ceilings being decorated with floating chandeliers that flew up every morning.
It was extremely beautiful.
It was dark arts right now, we were all copying down defensive spells in our notebooks from textbooks that may I add looked aincent.
The binding that kept the textbooks together were coming off, the pages were dirty as hell, and they reaked!.
"do they ever replace books?" a random girl said loudly, professor lupin turned around slowly looking at the girl.
"beg your pardon" he said lightly, the light brown haired man took a step forwards leaving his hands behind his back to look more intimidating. Lupin was now atleast three metres away from the girls desk. "care to repeat that?"
The girls face turned red, she nervously sat up straight clearing her throat. She started to move her dyed blonde hair to the back of her as she started to choak on her own words "I said if—uhm" she stuttered.
"well don't be shy my dear." professor Lupin took another step forwards now having one arm folded against his chest, he looked down at her as of she was pray. "I suggest if you don't want to repeat yourself, don't say something as foolish as you did".
The class let out a small laugh as professor lupin gave a small smirk. "10 points from Ravenclaw" he shouted. I didn't even notice the girl was from ravenclaw when I looked at her.
---
After a long day of classes I headed back to the common room feeling exhausted.
I wasn't really in the mood to do anything but I knew it was almost time for dinner so I just decided to sit on the sofa until then.
At this time I was really enjoying a book that wasn't really as known to many people. It was called 'the truth' written by someone who doesn't want to reveal their identity. This book has been banned due to people becoming currupted just from reading the horrors of this reality, but that didn't stop me from reading it.
A few moments after I got comfable on the couch the door to the common room opened, I looked over at the door to see the six foot blonde haired boy, I sighed in annoyance not wanting to get into an argument until I saw his condition, it was like he had been beaten up or something.
"What in the merlin happened?" I quickly shot up from the sofa walking over to him. I went to grab my wand to cast a healing spell when his cold hands grabbed my wrist.
"Don't bother" he growled letting go of me, he started to make his way to the boys dormitories before I opened my mouth.
"come here, you're hurt" I ordered, but his cold eyes looked at me and laughed.
"please, how could a mutt like you possibly help?" he tilted his head back with amusement "if anything you'd probably make it worse"
His words made me feel as if my heart was being torn out of my body, I held back the tears that prickled my eyes trying not to look dramatic.
