Chapter 1 - ACT 1

"Where am I?"

Hiko, a boy who had blond hair, but of course it was not his natural colors. He had some piercings in his ears and in the lower corner of his mouth. The place he was looking a lot like a quarter of a ship, but very old, the bunk cover was already almost falling apart. On Hiko's left wrist was a kind of identification bracelet made of metal.

Next to the door was a small monitor, which despite the state the room was in, it looked quite new, almost as if it had just been taken out of the box. Then after a few minutes, the monitor called alone, which was something very strange, since there was hiko in that room. But even though it's on, there was no image, it was completely signless, just hissing out of it, at least that was for a few seconds, which was when an image similar to that of a teddy bear began to be transmitted, but unlike normal bears, it wasn't something cute, it was more for something intimidating.

"What's that?"

"I see you're awake!"

The bear began by saying, with a tone that was somehow a bit sarcastic.

"What are you?"

Still a little confused, Hiko tried to ask, even though he didn't know if the image coming out of that monitor was a recording, or if it was something live and he was being monitored.

"Why do damn kids like you have to be so curious !!?"

The bear responds in a rather angry way, but it was hard to know if he was serious or if he was just making fun of him.

"Call me Kuma-O!"

"Kuma-O?"

"Yes, or are you deaf by chance? But anyway, I'm the master of the game."

Hiko began to look at the monitor in a very confusing way, until he began to feel a severe headache.

"My head..."

She held her head as she kneels to the ground because of the pain.

"What is it, something wrong?"

"No, nothing, it's just my head"

While he was holding his head, and worried about the pain, a photo ended up falling from the pocket of his uniform blouse. It was a picture of him and two other friends.

"This picture ... wait, now I remember, we were going on a school tour"

"Stop mumbling alone there!! And pay attention to me, I'm not finished explaining your asshole!"

Hiko got up, and kept the photo again.

"Now I need to explain the rules of the game, so head to the main hall to join the others"

After Kuma-O finished speaking, the monitor automatically hung up on its own, and then the door that was made of metal, and appeared to be some kind of automatic door, opened itself.

"What's going on after all?"

With no other choice, Hiko went through the door. Across the door, there was a huge corridor with 52 doors. On the wall above the doors, there was a drawing of four cards, as if it were a hand, and these letters were: Ace of Hearts, Ace of Clubs, Ace of Diamonds and above them the Ace of Spades.

It seemed that all the doors had been opened at the same time, and all the people came out at the same time, and that included Hiko. The people who left Hiko had never seen in his life, had different ages, dressed in different ways, were people who had no relationship with him, with the exception of two people, the person who came out the door that is in front of Hiko's room, and next to that same room, were the same people who were in the picture in which he carried.

"Hiko?"

The two people spoke with a harmonic tone.

"Jake, Noah?"

The two boys were wearing the same high school outfit that Hiko, even the high school emblem they had on their blouse, but Jake had a kind of Mooan, very much resembling a delinquent, and Noah had a slightly large hair by Japanese standards, which went up to approximately at neck height.

"Hiko, what's going on?"

Jake tried to ask, but the voice was a little muffled by the crowd of 52 people who spoke at the same time.

"I have no idea, but I also want to find out, I just remember that we were on the school bus, and suddenly I woke up here, so through a monitor a kind of talking teddy bear started saying something about a game..."

"So with you too..."

Noah put his hand on his chin while trying to think of an explanation for everything that was going on.

"With you too?"

"That happened to me too, a bear said something about a game"

Noah explained. The two then looked at Jake.

"It also happened to me"

"Wait, did it happen to you too?"

A girl with half pink hair, she wore a top that looked more like a bikini, shorts, half pants and a boot, looked even like an idol, and probably she was listening to the boys' talk.

"Huum... who are you?"

"Sorry, My name is Momo"

"Oh yes, did you have the conversation with the bear too?"

At that moment, all the people stopped talking randomly, and began to focus only on the bear, for he was probably the key to the mystery.

"So it seems that everyone who is here had the same conversation with him..."

"Noah, can you find an explanation for this? since you're the smartest"

Hiko said, hoping his friend would find a solution.

"Not yet, it seems that our only alternative is to do what he said, and follow to the main hall"

"Looks like we have no other choice then..."

Jake said it while sighing as a form of complaint.

With nothing to do, they all followed the corridor, which had an arrow painted on the walls indicating the path. When crossing all that corridor, they went down the stairs to the main hall, and unlike the room in which he was, it was totally beautiful and clean, it seemed until it belonged to some noble, there was a large dining table, and hung high up, had a monitor, one could also notice several cameras scattered around the place. When they noticed all that scenery, they began to get a little more aware of that place they were in, it was a big mansion.

At the large dining table, there were several cell phones, and right in the center of the table had a sign with the following words written: "only one per person"

"But what is this?"

Hiko said out loud.

"I have no idea, but do we have another option?"

Said a tall guy with several muscles and who used a regatta, probably he should go to the gym a lot, or practice some activity that required a lot of physical strength quite often. He was then the first to approach the table, and pick up one of the cell phones, so the other people were taking courage and picking up the cell phones, until Hiko, Jake, Noah and the girl named Momo were the last to catch.

After then all the people picked up the cell phones, the monitor turned on automatically, just like before, he spent a few minutes with hiss, but soon the bear named Kuma-O appeared.

"But what would it take, do you happen to have chains with stones attached to your feet?"

Kuma-O said, and again making fun of everyone who was there.

"Now let me explain the rules!"

Kuma-O said in a way that made him look like he was very happy with the whole situation.

"You will now participate in a game called "Killer Deck". And the goal is very simple, if any of you ever count, there are fifty-three people, the same number of cards that a deck has, each of you represents a card of the deck, but only those who represent the cards of the Royal family and the Ace can reveal your cards, and among you has the person representing the Joker , and she is the key piece of this game, because the person who represents this card is different, he is your enemy, a murderer who must kill each of you without pain or pity, you have 80 hours to find out who the Joker is and kill him, if time runs out and the Joker is still alive, all but him dies"

"What if we refuse to participate?"

The middle-aged man asked, she wore a suit and glasses, of those who seemed to have no frame. Her hair also looked like she's already falling out, probably her age was around 55.

"Hahahahaha"

For some reason, Kuma-O started laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"I'm sorry, that's what you just said seemed very funny. But anyway, that's not the valid option, are you seeing these metal id bracelets on your wrists? Inside them they have a small bomb capable of exploding a human body together, so if they don't follow the rules, they will be activated!"

"You son of a bitch"

Momo said it as a form of aggression, not liking the idea of everyone there being forced to participate in a killing game like that.

"Ooh, what a daring girl hahaha"

"DO YOU THINK WE'RE JUST TOYS SO YOU CAN PLAY AS YOU PLEASE?"

Hiko cried in frustration no longer supporting all that situation in which he misunderstood.

"Hey, you! BUT WHO DO YOU THINK IT IS TO SHOUT WITH ME SO YOUR !!!?"

Hiko retreated for a moment with the change in tone of voice that Kuma-O used. The fifty-two people began to face Kuma-O who was through the monitor, some looked at him scared, others angry as if they were a snake about to give the boat.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Don't look at me like I'm the bad guy here. Now go back to your respective rooms, and wait until the game starts."

Without having anything they can do, they have to do what that bear said. Noah was all this thoughtful time, thinking of a solution to get out of that place alive.

When everyone went back to their respective rooms, the door closed and locked automatically, it was a long time like this. After about ten minutes with nothing happening, the phone in Hiko had picked up the dinner table that was in the Hall, whistled and at the same time the television turned on again, but this time it was not the Kuma-O that had appeared, the television and the cell phone showed the same image, the Ace of Spades.

"YOU ARE THE ACE OF SWORDS"

A voice came out of the phone. After the voice said the letter hiko represented, a ten-minute timestarted appearing, but he was stuck.

"REMAINING TIME FOR THE START OF THE GAME"

Then the timing began to rotate, a countdown for the killing game to begin, and on television, under the time and the ace of spadesymbol, Kuma-O appeared and began to speak.

"Why, well, it looks like you picked up an interesting letter, don't forget to entertain me a hundred percent of the time haha. But I wonder: "Who will be the Joker", but anyway, have a good game, haha"

Then the image of Kumo-O disappeared, leaving only the Suit, and the timing that was getting closer and closer to zero, and with every second that was going on, made Hiko more nervous, because it was not only the eighty hours that was making him worried, because there was also the possibility of him being one of the victims of the killer, and it was not only him who thought so , all participants probably carried the same feeling.

"Shit, I think the only possibility of me surviving is to believe that Noah thinks of something, that's if he's not the Joker... damn what am I thinking? Suspecting a friend, I need to calm down, be nervous and suspecting everyone around me won't solve anything."

With both hands, Hiko placed them on his face, trying to calm down a little.

"FIVE MINUTES REMAINING..."

Hiko just closed his eyes, hoping to forget everything around him, while more and more, the time of the game called Deck Killer, he remained so, until the game began.

"Damn it! How did I get into this?"

"10 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"9 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"8 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"7 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"6 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"5 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"4 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"3 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"2 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"1 SECOND REMAINING..."

"0 SECONDS REMAINING..."

"THE GAME WILL BEGIN, GOOD LUCK PLAYER"

Then the timing was finally reset, and then a new timetable appeared over the top, but this time it marked 80 Hours, the time limit to complete the game, and every second their lives would be near ing. Then the door that was until then locked opened automatically, just like the time they went to the Hall. Everyone walked automatically to the same Hall as before, and everyone began to face each other, no word was said, because everyone knew one thing, as much as everyone there until then was getting along, when the first body appeared, everything would be over, that harmony would be broken...
