I listened to Ray's explanation, I could see the sincerity in his eyes, so I belived every word he said. It was indeed strange for a woman to pick a call, and instead of giving out her name, she identified herself as the fiancee. Maybe I was a fool, but I was unwilling to lose Ray.
More so, my mother has been wry of him, he would be unable to fool her as she cares a lot about my feeling and was more objective than me. "Post a picture of me," I demanded. I knew the request was childish but I did not want to me forgotten.
Ray took his phone and with out saying anything, he posted a picture we took a few days before I was kidnapped. Then he captured it, " I miss you"
I understood that for my safety at this time we could not take a picture together. To me he was declaring how much he had missed me for the past four months but when the kidnappers see this, they would conclude he believed I was dead.
