"Why did you not tell me you were making a live video?" Bella asked. She was looking right into my eyes as though she was in search of something.
I pulled her into a hug. "How was I supposed to tell you? Engagements are meant to be a form of surprise right?" I reason. I hated the fact that she felt guilty when she did nothing wrong.
"But don't you feel angry that I rejected your proposal in the presence of the entire world?" She asked. Her voice sounded even more guilty.
"No, but I do feel sad that you rejected me. I guess I have not done enough for you to accept me. So I would just work harder and solve all our problems so we can start planning our wedding," I told her.
Bella smiled hearing my words, "I hope your parents learn to accept me soon," she said resting her head on my chest.
