I can't take it anymore, my parents are about to drive me nuts. Dad is finally going into politics. I used finally because I feel like he has always wanted to have political power. I can't believe mum made me came all the way, so that we could act like one happy family.
He plans to contest in the next year's elections. To win the primary elections at his party we have been hosting lunch after lunch, dinner after dinner since I arrived, which is so annoying.
The worst part was for him to set me on a date with a minister's daughter on Friday. Mum made me get dressed thinking I was going to another dinner only to find myself on a date with the minister's daughter.
The lady just kept looking at me seductively. As soon as I found out it was a blind date, I would have turned around and left but Mum called me at the right time and pleaded with me to do her the favour. So I sat down and tried to endure the date.
