You did what! my wife shouted on top of her voice. I have just told her I got an apartment for Bella, about fifteen minute drive to Mount Wings and she is definitely angry. I knew she will not approve of it, which was why I got the apartment and set it up before informing her. It not like she would have been able to change my mind against it. I just figured it was best not to make her nag about it for a long time. Especially because she may take it out on Bella. Which is also why I told her three days before Bella is due to resume school.
To be honest I don't understand my wife anymore. I don't get how she is able to hate an innocent child. I mean she was all loving of Bella, while her parents were alive. I can't believe that the only thing we could provide for her as family, my wife has chosen to deny her that. I mean when did she become this wicked and cold hearted. Or maybe that who she really is, it just took the right time and situation to show this part of her.
I knew very well that she has been treating that innocent child wrongly. I just pretend not to notice. I was not always around and so I tried my best not to get too involved, there by create more problems for Bella. But it has gotten to it height. how could she deliberately be making sure Bella did not continue with her educations. I mean the girl is entitled to any form of education she want. It is her birth right as a part of the Wisdom family. But No my wife act as if we are doing her the biggest or greatest favor in life.
I mean even if she forgot I sent the money last year, like she claimed. which I am certain she did not. she would have been able to pay the fee anyway. Bella had said nothing about her not been able to score enough to get into the university this year but I am certain my wife did something. I am sure about this even if I said nothing, I know my wife is very manipulative. It is now clear to me that my wife is not ready to see and love Bella as family and I also fear she may do something to make Bella drop out of the college and ruin my plans.
So the best thing was to get her an apartment outside the house, after all she was old enough to take care of herself. I can not take any more chances with my wife.
I don't get you right now my wife continue. you got her a car as a gift for getting admitted. The school is only an hour thirty minute or so away from here, so why get her an apartment she said.
Honey I don't get why you are so worked up. I mean Daniella's school is forty five minute drive from home but she got an apartment and a car just like Bella. you did not complain why are you complaining about Belle, who will definitely have a harder time getting to school? I asked.
Don't compare my children to Bella, she said getting more upset.
I have told you several times already, Bella is a part of this family and there is nothing you can do to change that so get used to it, I snapped at her.
Okay now that you have gotten her an apartment, who will help me out around the house? She asked. .
I can't believe my ears right now. For crying out loud honey, Bella is part of the wisdom family, she is not your maid. Help her out with what? there are enough maids to do all that needed to be done around the house. what could she possibly need Bella for? I asked myself . Have you gone crazy or something because the last I check, we have enough maids to serve every of your needs in this house. in any case if they are not enough employing more, I said.
I don't want a new maid, Bella should stay back and help out. She does not deserve any of all things, you are giving to her she said.
I laugh sincerely not believing my ears, Honey the fact that the wisdom family blood is what flow though Bella's veins alone makes her entitle to everything Daniel and Daniella are entitle to, and you know that. On no account should you call her back to this house, when I am away. Trust me you don't want to see my other side, I threatened.
I knew she was angry but I did not bother to continue the conversation. She knew very well she could not dare me on this. I had to take a firm stand on issue to make sure, she does not play some of her tricks and still make Bella come home and make her life miserable. I turned to Bella, let go check out your new apartment. She jumped on her feet. I could see she tried to avoid looking at my wife. Do you want to come along, I asked Daniel and Daniella.
Sure Daniel said and stood up to come with us. I would rather count my figures Daniella answered. I shake my head as I walked out of the house , like mother like daughter I thought.
