Josephine paced around her office. She knew something was wrong with Bella's location suddenly being exposed, so she had acted with caution. Yet, despite her care, she had still fallen into The Agency's trap. Although her losses weren't as severe as her uncle's, she had lost her spies inside The Agency.
Fortunately, she hadn't made a major move yet, but without her spies, it would be much harder to get her hands on Bella. Luckily, she had prepared evidence to pin the crime on Mr. Williams. Even if she failed to capture Bella, the fight would be between Mr. Williams and the Wisdom family. After all, she was just a pawn in this game.
Moreover, since her uncle had joined the hunt at the last minute, she could use the Wisdom family's to deal with his faction within the Clay. Her plan was solid, but one problem remained—she might offend the man from the Darknet since she had failed to deliver Bella as promised.
