"I am sorry," I thought it was best to apologise. I was going to tell her about the situation in the past four months but I thought she needed to rest first.
"You..." Bella pointed at me, I could see disbelieve in her eyes. When I saw her acting like this, I realized that she still doubted my engagement but hearing my statement she was shocked.
"A few things have happened since you left, I dont love her. The situation forced me to," I quickly explained.
"I don't want to hear it, stop treating me like a fool, you promised me. You said that not even you daughter would change your mind about us. You even dared to risk you position in the family. Ahh!! I must have been a fool to believe you at that point," Bella accused.
