I could not break traffic law so I just drove at an average speed.
"Hey, the birthday boy finally decided to put on his phone," Carl said the minute he picked up the call. I had connected my phone to the car speaker and now I regret that decision since I knew how my friends could get.
"What did you expect. He forgot the brother's code and decided to spend his time with his girlfriend. He would naturally put off his phone so we don't get to disturb their alone time," Emmanuel comment
"Hey, it is still my birthday and I get to decide what happens today," I quickly caught them off knowing where the conversation was headed.
"oh! So you finally managed to get out of bed, I thought you did go on at it till the party time," Emmanuel teased. I unconsciously looked at Bella but she kept a straight face.
