Do you want to go on a vacation? Kara asked the moment she was able to stop coughing. Ben nodded his head. He was not surprised by the look on his face.
He figured that a vacation would help them build the bond that has been lacking in their marriage.
"Why?" Kara asked. She did not bother to hide the mist in her voice.
"I told you I wanted to work our marriage out this time for real. Now that I am dropping out of the governorship race, I just felt we can take time off work bond," Ben replied.
Kara's jaw dropped. She honestly did not expect to be having a conversation like this with Ben. Few months, ago she had asked Ben for a divorce when she found out about his daughter. She had been so angry that night that for the first time she was willing to let go.
She could no longer take the fact that he slept around and ignore her. So she contacted her lawyer before she talks her way out of it and made the preparation.
