Kara was still busy reading and sighing documents when she got a call from her personal assistant.
"What is it?" She asked picking up the call. "Your husband is here to see you ma," her assistant replied.
"Let him in," kara replied. 'Why is he here?' She asked herself looking at her wristwatch. It was few minutes past lunchtime.
I thought to send him a message to cancel lunch Kara grubbled. It was not that she hated the idea of eating with him. She just hates the fact that her heart would get broken again. Just like Ray, she believes that her husband's behavior towards her has something to do with the elections.
"Hey," Ben smiled sweaty at her as he closed the door behind him. Kara sigh before giving him a fake smile. "You can stop what you are doing now so we can go grab some lunch. I made us a reservation?" Ben happily told her.
