It has been a few months since my trial began. The agency did not really have much evidence against me. Most of it pointed at my husband and directly to Steve. Of course, I am going to be charged as an accomplice, but maybe I would be let out on bail as soon as my trial is over.
Luckily Steve managed to escape arrest and buried most of the evidence that could implicate me. He has sent a message to me through someone, so once being let out on bail I would go see him.
Mary and her daughter might think they have won but it is only the calm before the storm. 'I Iris Wisdom will have my revenge.' For now, I would bow my head low and act like I regret all my actions. Besides I needed to gain my children's trust back. Although they have been there for me all the while, providing a lawyer and making sure I have protection in jail but I could see the disappointment in their eyes.
