There was that faint feeling Aurora was something that belonged to her, unlike Sierra. She liked it so much that she smiled warmly at him. She had always known the names around her and putting the syllabus one next to the other to create a new rhyming name didn't seem fitting. A name had to have a meaning; if he had chosen it for her, it would mean something, right?
Even when she said he was the one who meant to come closer, she still did it anyway. She wanted to ask him if he had chosen names for women before but it was crossing boundaries he set around himself.
"Aurora, do you want to be called like this?" his low voice caressed her ears. It was an unfamiliar name to her ears but a familiar one to her heart. Without waiting or her to give a reply, he spoke. "Since I am the one who chose it, I will be the only one who will be calling you like that. For others, you will be Sierra and for me, you are Aurora."
