Sierra stepped inside the house. Everything was dark but she could distinguish the silhouette of her father sitting with a bottle of wine in his right hand, hanging around the chair swinging, but the bottle wasn't touching the ground. She stared at him and he did as well. For a few minutes, no one talked. Sebastien decided to cut the silence first.
"Are you alright? Did something happen to you?"
"I don't know if you can consider what happened as something happening, but I feel fine. At least, for the moment I feel great," she smiled at him. She was more expecting him to scold her but he didn't. She switched on the lights. "Did you take your dinner or do you need me to cook something for you?"
