Her head thumped monstrously with her heartbeat; the ache swelled and faded as she watched him laughing as he never did. She thought and fought inside her mind because of the reason why he was laughing. It was as if he shamed her and it was embarrassing. She didn't like him laughing. Her hand meandered to the pillow and threw it him strongly but he grabbed it before it could touch his face.
If there were books she would have known more. It was her mother's task to explain to her couple's relationship but the mother wasn't anywhere when the daughter needed her. Sierra suppressed her questions and left them away. Curiosity only led to doom. She wanted to die but not in pain. She wanted a quick and painless death. Curiosity would take to a painful one and she didn't want that.
