Chapter 1 - Camera girl

Some soft footsteps can be heard in the empty corridor, there is a girl with a pretty cute face is pouting her lips. She is busy thinking about the news she needs to report to school magazines but she does not get any hot news to be announced.

Yes, she is Han Seoyoo.

The HD camera she was holding seemed useless for today so she decided to keep it in her bag while still pouting but then she heard a loud voice squealing from the ground floor making Seoyoo wonder about what was going on down there.

She looked down and she saw a limousine car parked on the university grounds as well as several students looking towards the guy who was still in the vehicle. She saw a guy in the back seat and for Seoyoo, he looked like a student. She admitted that the said guy looked very handsome and attractive even though she was a few kilometers away from him.

No wonder why most of the girls seem to forget to breathe just by looking at his face. That must be a new student and from judging by the car, the student must come from the wealthy family. No wonder he is good looking in the first place.

"What a show off.."

Seoyoo said to herself

She does not like when people flex their wealth because for Seoyoo, there is no need to do so and she found this type of people are very annoying sometimes. All of a sudden she got an idea, she could make this rich new student a major topic in school magazines and other students will be interested in this news. Once again, her HD camera was taken from her bag and Seoyoo took some pictures when the student stepped out of his luxury vehicle.

After taking some pictures of the student, Seoyoo smiled thinly and made her way towards the photography club room. Not in the least was she interested in introducing herself to the new student. Unlike the others, Seoyoo was not interested in introducing herself to the new student and she was willing to spend time in the photography club room for hours.

She did not take long to add a picture she had just taken to the front of the magazine to be pasted on the notice board so students could see the new news. As soon as the file was transferred into her pen drive, Seoyoo packed her things to go back to her rented house not far from the University. She would often walk home however when there was an opportunity she would use a public bus.

As soon as she got home, she headed straight to her room to put her belongings and took a long shower to rinse all of her tiredness in the bathroom. After a while, Seoyoo came out of the shower wearing her pajamas. She frowned when she looked at her mobile phone, no one cared to send her a short text message.

This is her problem from the beginning she set foot in the University, her shy and quiet nature makes it difficult for her to make friends. So that's why she decided to take part in this photography club is to try to socialize with other students but everything has not changed. When she faces another student, she does not know what to say and she starts to feel uncomfortable because she will feel really shy to make eye contact for more than a few seconds. That is why some students consider Han Seoyoo to be a boring person.

She let a soft sigh escape her mouth then she headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner for herself before she did her assignment later. She tore a packet of ramen and put it in boiling water, also the vegetables she had cut into the pan until everything was cooked.

Then, she brought her dinner to the living room to enjoy her meal while watching television. She hoped a television show could distract her as she ate but none of it caught her attention. She then turned her gaze towards the small shelf next to the television to get rid of her boredom.

Her eyes landed on a picture frame, not a regular photo but it is a picture of her mother and father who have now passed away.

in the frame of the picture, her mother and father were hugging Seoyoo tightly with the background of a theme park.

The picture was taken on her seventh birthday when her father had raised enough money for them to buy tickets worth almost hundreds. Her father's perseverance to celebrate her birthday at the theme park as she wished deeply touched her heart.

Being the only daughter in a family caused the father to work hard to raise his daughter to be a great woman. Just like what Han Seoyoo is going through now but now her parents are gone and she needs to be a successful woman as both her parents want.

She loves both her parents but they have gone through an accident that has caused their deaths when the day she finished high school. She sniffed softly and wiped away the tears using the back of her hand to prevent more tears from flowing. She herself did not realize when the tears were brimming at the corner of her eyes.

She shook her head as she was trying to remove the thought away. Seoyoo's head began to feel a little heavy due to the fond memories of her parents. Now, her mood to complete her assignment was gone so she decided to go to bed as soon as she brushed her teeth.

"Mom and Dad, I know you two are resting up there but don't forget to look at your only daughter here"

Seoyoo whispered while looking out the window.

Tonight's stars look brighter than ever. This makes Seoyoo happy because she can feel both her parents are up there, watching her silently.
