Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

Both forces steamed with fury toward one another. The stampede created a minimal vibration to the marble flooring that even Enria felt above her throne. Cries of rage broke the silence of the palace. Cracks in the floor generated from the boots worn by the shielded men. To them it was like they were given the permission to smash glass with the pressure of their feet.

The guards of green and warriors of evil winded up their attacks whilst running for their desired target. A split second arrived, the strongest moment which started and banged with a forceful collision.

*BANG*

Sharp arrows repelled off the scarred shield; the horned helmet of the muscular man rebounded arrows that hit like twigs. Once the array of arrows snapped so delicately, a brief predicament of hell arrived for the conflicting guard, his brown hair drenched with sweat. A shock manifested onto his face as he stood dumbfounded after an ineffective attack. Questions frozen the green eyed guard. Prior, he was certain for at least a dint in the metal. Carelessly ignoring his distance, the shiny green breastplates he took pride in wearing cracked as the impact of hard fists struck out of surprise.

A devilish axe and holy sword converged; white sparks flew across the faces of the warriors.

Striking in a close range, a crimson knight didn't hesitant at all with blood. In fact she desired more and more until it all dispersed out onto the floor. She thought as this experience like training against a dummy, swinging with maximum force with so much ease. From a villainous smile, she chuckled in amusement.

"This is fun, isn't it." She laughed as her eyes caught sight of the desperation within her enemy.

Her double headed axe barely slit the throat of her attacker. A line of red slowly split open, revealing the liquid she desired to see.

The psychopathic laugh that rung in the guards got louder as he was aware with her doing. Content, the pinkish eyes that pierced through his confidence expanded as her insanity went up another level.

"I want to see more of your ruby blood." She shouted with joy.

Slipping easily against the grey blade, the axe owned by the crimson knight landed a hit on the guards shoulder. The head of the axe deepened into its victim, with a squelch, blood rapidly burst out onto the once immaculate marble.

"YESS!" Overloaded with joy the crimson knight was.

"Now, time to finish you off." She soothed.

More strikes were exchanged between the forces, more blood dispersed from the deep slashes and attacks pledged by both sides, screams of anguish poured into the hall that was once complete with serenity.

The emerald guards didn't strike with their own rhythm of attack. Instead they helplessly attempted to lung their swords in moments that only exchanged for blood and mishap. Unfortunately, timing was not a speciality they mastered. Unlike the evil raiders, it was much preferred for long range attacks where they were certain of a hit.

Enria resisted to intervene with the terror. Tears of sorrow built in her eyes. Lingering pain trapped in her mind couldn't compare to heart wrenching sight she beheld. Aghast, the moment returned trauma from the past.

Seconds after the manslaughter begun, a newcomer debuted onto the newly established battleground through the open white doors. Consistent amounts of blood stained the marble floor, almost to the point whether the red velvet carpet could no longer be differentiated. Lightly kicking a ripped off arm still attached to a double headed axe, the ominous entity presented no symptoms of sympathy or emotion to conflict with an outlandish helmet covering their identity. Preserving a composed expression, Enria pursued the figure going astray from the pathway created by the carpet. Presumably, to evade pain from an arm or a leg being slashed off. Passing two pillars to the left, the figure resumed their walk to throne, intimidating Enria by walking on the royal carpet
