You might want to decide fast. We live in a dangerous world. If you see a chance to be happy, you have to fight for it, so later you have no regrets.
Raven with Kara leaned on him was among the many spectators who came to watch the match between his school and a rival school. On his side was Laura, George, and Tyler. Gina, Tina and Ashley who were Laura's friend.
Kara wasn't fond of football, not that she had interest in any other sports. But since she got to hangout with her friends, she wanted to deal with it.
Laura glances at George, who seemed to be carried away by the football match. She frowns. He should at least learn to control himself instead of jumping out of his seat relentlessly, she thought. Tyler on the other hand seemed to be consumed in his tablet, he definitely didn't like football, she thought. Not as if she liked it.
No one was in school, and it would be pointless staying home.
Ashley, Gina and Tina yells as they cheered their boyfriends annoying Laura.
"Could you two just shut up?" She yells at them.
Ashley pouts. "What? We aren't the only one yelling and cheering. You could try that sometime."
"Such a stupid thing to attempt, I say." Laura snapped.
"Uh.. you made a point since you don't have a boyfriend." Gina jests.
The girls giggles.
"Silly girls." Laura mutters; Only Kara seem to be her only friend who truly understands her and was responsible when compelled to the other trio.
"You guys are unbelievable and embarrassing." George said.
"Shut up squid, you should be out there playing not here squealing like an idiot" Gina retorted.
George fum anger. "Your boyfriend is playing doesn't make him anything lest than an idiot. Right Tyler?" George stares at Tyler who seem uninterested as always in there jesting.
George frowns.
"Raven!" He tries to capture Raven's attention to his support.
"Count me out of this George." Raven snaps.
The girls giggles at George.
"Raven don't you play? I would love to see you play." Ashley said.
"Actually he loves to play, but the last time he did, he tossed a ball to outer space." George jest.
"Stop exaggerating George, the ball didn't go that far." Laura scolds.
"But the ball never came back, what explains that." George snaps. "Outer space." George said rhythmical.
Ashley frowns, she wasn't expecting George to answer and she wasn't expecting that kind of answer.
"Are you enjoying the match?" Raven asks Kara; he knew she wasn't enjoying the game but it was humane to ask.
"No." Kara snaps her head still leaned on Raven's chest; She was enjoying the peace his body gave to her, she didn't want to be disturbed.
Raven grins at her, his hand still holding her tight to himself.
"Look at you, like a big baby." Ashley said referring to Kara.
"Shh" George hush.
Ashley frowned at him, he keeps interfering.
"Who wants some popcorn and a coca cola drink?" Laura asks.
"Me!" The three girls said.
"Kara?" Laura called her attention.
"Yes." Kara mutters.
"You coming with me Ashley." Laura said.
"No." Ashley snaps. "There is no way I'm going down there."
Laura scoffs frustratedly; it could be much work for her to go alone and the girls didn't seem to want to follow.
"George?"
"Just get me a cheese burger." George said.
Laura fum anger. Tyler's mind seemed to be drifted far away from the present.
"I will go with you." Raven offered.
Laura frowns, she wasn't sure she wanted him to come. "No." You can stay, I will manage." Laura snaps.
"Why?"
Laura sighs, she knew he would insist."Ok." She said.
Raven tries to get up but Kara growls in disapproval.
"I'll be back in a minute." Raven assures.
Kara reluctantly, lifts her head off Raven. She stares at him intensely, his facial expression told her he wasn't going to yield.
Raven and Laura left for the nearby snack shop.
"Get me a hotdog and lemonade." Tyler mumbles.
Kara stares at Raven and Laura until they were out of sight.
"George!" She taps on him.
"What is it? " George asks involuntary.
"Do you think anything is wrong with Raven?" She asks more in a whisper.
"No!" He snaps. Why do you ask?" George asks curiously.
"I'm not so sure but, I have this feeling like he is hiding something from me." Kara said.
"Hmm." George hums.
"Remember the day of the earthquake? The day he woke up?" Kara asks.
"The day he saved you from the fire. How could I forget that." George blurts out.
"Yes, I mean how could he do that? No one was able to get in. But he did without a scratch or something." She said.
"I think he had an adrenaline rush." George snaps.
Kara wasn't expecting that kind of answer. She could still remember; Raven's blazing eyes, his fiery looks, and the flames on his body which didn't seem to hurt. Was he an alien? She thought.
"Adrenaline rush doesn't work that way." She snaps.
George sighs. "You see Kara, when a guy knows his girlfriend is he danger, he has this kind of adrenaline rush that he can literally do anything." He explains.
Kara scoffs; George didn't understand. "Ok, I get that." She said.
She wasn't sure yet what to believe, and she wasn't sure she wanted Raven any different from what he is. She is just going to lay low, not digging deep and have to accept him the way he is.

Laura and Raven on there way to the snacks shop.
"Laura!" Raven calls.
Gosh, she wasn't ready to go into any conversation. "Hm." She hums.
"Why are you acting this way?" He asks.
"How?"
"You are acting weird, like really really weird." Raven said.
"Weird! How is that even possible?" Laura asks.
"You've been avoiding me, and you are acting strange. Are you not telling me something." Raven inquires.
"No, and I'm fine." Laura assures.
"No, you are not." Raven mumbles.
"Is it Lucifer?" He adds.
Laura scoffs. "N...no!" She stutters.
"Then what is it? You can tell me." Raven assures.
"It's nothing." Laura snaps.
"Liar!" Raven snaps.
"Raven justβ" She scoffs.
"You see, you are stressed up. I told you I'm okay that you.....love Lucifer." Raven blurts out.
"Who told you that, I'm just stressed up that's all." She defends.
"Stressed up?!" Raven exclaims.
Laura sighs; Raven wasn't going to let her be unless she told him the truth. She had to tell him.
"Arius is in My head Raven; I can feel him, I see him each time I close my eyes, for every wind that blows I feel his touch, each bird that sings I hear his voice. My head throbs with pain, like he is tormenting me." Laura conplains.
Raven pouts. "Is that it?"
Laura frowns. "What more?"
"I'm not sure, maybe I was expecting 'Lucifer is such a nice man, he is so good at bed.' Isn't that what you ladies talk about." Raven blurts out.
Laura frowns. "I'm serious. I couldn't be more serious."
"Then why did you have to hide this for so long?" Raven asks.
"Because, I'm scared. Amenadiel said he is trying to kill me, and this whole thing just freaks me out." Laura blurts out.
"Actually about Amenadiel, he said we would be going on a field trip to the city of angels. To find some info and do some diggings." Raven informed.
"Are you actually placing your angelic duties between you and Kara?" Laura asks.
"No, I'm not." Raven defends.
"Is she aware of it?"
"No, I will only be gone for a week, or.....maybe a month." Raven said.
"What will you tell her?" Laura inquires.
"I don't know. You can figure out something." Raven said.
Laura sighs frustratedly. "Do you angels have a sense of duty?" Laura asks.
Raven scowls. "Yes, who doesn't?"
"Then you should tell her yourself." Laura snaps.
"I could.. but you know she doesn't know I'm not human." Raven said.
Laura frowns. "Come up with something."
"Are you telling me to lie? That's rediculous.
"No, maybe you could just tell her the truth." Laura suggest.
"Hmm." Raven hums.
"Like, you are going on a trip and you might not be back in a week. Simple, there's nothing lying about it." Laura blurts out.
"Um, ok. That's a point."Β Raven said.
Laura wince in pain as she felt her head throbs with pain.
"Arius is tormenting me, it only gets worst each day." She said.
"I'm sorry Laura, I wish I could help. But I'm not good with my healing skills." Raven apologizes.
"It's okay, it's just that I don't know why this is happening." Laura said calmly as they reach the snacks shop.
