Darius entered the room and picked Destrian up, holding him tightly against his chest. "I'm right here, son."
"He summoned you?" She finally realized why Darius had appeared when he did.
"My son might just be the greatest deity of all time." He was beaming with pride. Destrian babbled in response, as though he understood what his father was saying and agreed with him.
She smiled proudly. Every parent thought their child was the most beautiful, the greatest, and had the brightest future. Even so, she still knew Destrian's life was destined to be admirable. He was, after all, the heir to the king's throne. Besides, how many deities had the ability to summon other deities before they could learn to sit?
"You are a time deity," she placed her hand on his arm, deciding to ask what she was most curious about. "Can you see into other dimensions of time, like the future?"
