After the coronation of Maya, nothing remained the same. Demons thought their new queen solved the war, and won against Lumeria, but instead she sold their soul to a worst demon than them. Lux was now reigning on Lumeria and Shawuni.
But in an other part of Esperia, beyond the sea was a land, partly unknown and unconsidered : Opelia, where humans lived in harmony. Of course, Opelia was not unknown, since archangels acknowledged the place, but demons never went there, they couldn't.
There was some cities in Opelia, three to be exact : Epheria the capital, Mirrahii and Stonedepth. Epheria was situated near the sea, with a port, many shops and te castle of the Queen of Opelia, Maria. Mirrahii, was just a little forward, directly connected to Epheria, middle class people lived there, as for Stonedepth it was far away in the land, cut from everything, people there lived hardly, and were often forced to steal or kill to obtain what they want.
Queen Maria, who reigned on the three cities, had to find a way to solve every problem of poverty, which was not her priority. She learned about the war between demons and archangels and was requested by Lux to discuss terms of peace between Opelia and Meridan.
The 7th day of the sixth moon of Blood, she left for Meridan. Leaving her daughter at the castle.
« Liza Marie, said she, promise me you will be good, you will not cause problems.
- Surely mother, I will act like you taught me to. Please come back to us safe. »
She raised her arms to her mother, and hugged her. Maria gave her back her hug and then left. But before crossing the door, turned around and said with a soft voice.
« And please, be sure to be aware of what your new "brother" is up to... I wouldn't want him to cause problems like he already did. »
And then left with her guards. Liza Marie, puzzled asked herself who was the brother her mother was talking about, but then was put out of her dreams by a huge sound coming out from the kitchens.
