Chapter 89 - The Glutton

Two days before Vania woke up from near death.

Fenrir steps through the portal. His feet floating thousands of feet from the ground. Volcanic ash almost choking him. "Dammit." He coughs for a moment until he finally adjusts to this realm. "Now I really need to…." Fenrir stops talking as he senses an incredible amount of aura coming from two different areas. It felt like Vania and one had been far north while slightly south of him there was another one. "This realm… It's dying." He starts to twist his arms and stretch before swiftly heading to the single direction. "I rush here as soon as those two arrived and now I'm in this mess…. I wonder how strong these guys are if she'd risk fighting them." He pondered to himself before gliding himself to the one by himself.

It took him only mere seconds to appear before Beelzebub as he had an orb between his hands. Beelzebub had been too enveloped in absorbing the souls of Vania's children to notice Fenrir's presence.

"I hate to tell you this but those do not belong to a glutton like yourself…" Fenrir was floating mere inches from him when he Beelzebub's eyes shoot open. Fenrir grabbed the orb as Beelzebub begins to lash out at him, cutting his chest and arms.

"Y-You're a monster…" Beelzebub leaps back in the air. His hands noticeably shaking as he stared down the scruffy Fenrir. His power had been canceled the moment Fenrir grabbed the orb, causing the majority of the souls to be released back to their owners.

"Tell me something I don't know. I thought Elders were supposed to be Monsters themself like the Master, are you not?" He asks, still holding the half filled orb of souls. Beside him a small dark circle opens allowing him to reach through and store the orb.

Beelzebub watches him store the orb. His eyes glowing bright now as he grew furious. "My… My Meal… Give it back… So many souls…" He readies his sharp nails and flies at Fenrir.

As he reaches to slash at Fenrir, the white maned man had vanished with a blink of an eye. "We need to hurry this up. I'm in a rush."

Beelzebub stopped where he was, quickly turning around. He went to rush back at him when a sudden burning sensation spread up his left arm. Beelzebub quickly glances to his arm only to see a bloody stump which brought him back from his hunger driven rage. "Dammit!!" He reaches up with his right hand and grips down tight on the stump trying to close it off.

Fenrir lift his right hand, holding the rest of the gluttons arm when an idea crossed his mind. "Hmm. I wonder what it would be like to eat a gluttons arm." He smirks as he turns to Beelzebub, his expression faded as he held his stub. Fenrir only joked, however, something deep down urged him to devour it.

Beelzebub watched as Fenrir began to take a bite after bite into his removed limb. Bone becoming exposed with each deep rip Fenrir took out of the arm. A thought crosses his mind causing the glutton to snap out of his fear induced trance then flies as quickly as he can back through the circle in the sky.

Once Beelzebub disappeared from view, Fenrir felt the aura in the air increase. The fight with Vania and the other Elder Marchosias was nearing its end. Fenrir tosses the remnant of the arm once he realized what he had done then wipes his lips. He rushes over to Vania's location as a bright light laminates even the sky itself. This was he final power not even she preferred to use and he could sense the pain and fear from her as he grew closer.

Fenrir had finished explaining what happened to Vania then walked down the pale marble hallways and corridors to greet the "Guest" whom had just arrived. The aura felt familiar as it leaked down the corridors the closer Fenrir got to it. Not only did it feel familiar, but the scent of death carried through his nose.

"Ah, I was wondering who our uninvited guest had been…" He turned the corner to greet them. "I could smell Anubis, but I wasn't expecting you as well, Set." The two Jackal like beings stood before Fenrir once more.

"It's been a while Fenrir. I had wondered which Fenrir we were going to be greeted by but I think I know which one" Set spoke as he walked towards Fenrir.

"Seeing how you're the two from my timeline, what brings you both here?" Fenrir asks the two gods, but could see both of their expressions fade at once.

"They're going after all of your allies, Fenrir. Olympus has already fallen and I'm afraid Asgard and Aaru are next." Set spoke softly as he gripped the hilt of his kophesh with his right hand, and held his staff in his left. "Whether or not I am from this time line, this still angers me."

"The reason we are here is because we want to help you stop them…" Anubis stopped mid sentence, Fenrir's aura had spiked, filling the room with his anger. If Olympus had fallen, then his Father and Grandfather were next. The two gods in front of them began to tremble from his anger filled aura that started to push them down to their knees.

An ice cold hand pressed firmly onto his shoulder. "It will be okay Brother, we will stop them before then." Hel spoke softly as she looked up at her brother. "I do not wish for any more bloodshed as much as you."

Fenrir finally calmed down allowing the two to stand back up. "I'm sorry… Now that I calmed down a little you guys can stand up."

The two gods looked at one another, having now seen how powerful he'd gotten since they last met, then look up at him. "If I had been evil like the past, I'm sure I would have lost to you back then." Set chuckled as he stood up.

"Seeing how Anubis is with you, you don't have an ulterior motive this time… Come this way… There's someone I want you both to meet." Fenrir turned around. His anger still welling up inside him. These Elders have gone too far this time.
