Chapter 83 - Jormungandr Part 1

The Fragment on Jereths staff grew bright. The purple light almost covering the entire field as the already dark clouds above changed to a dark violet. The ground began to tremble.

"He's not powerful enough to destroy the world…" Fenrir thought to himself as he could hear the yells and screams of Celestyn's onslaught within the castle until the gates and walls split into two.

"Brother…" A familiar voice rang through his ears. Fenrir turned around and looked behind him. In front of him stood two figures he hadn't seen in what felt like ages.

"Hel? Sleipnir?" His eyes adjust to see his half living half dead sister who wore a dark green dress with a black underlay. Her hair was long and dark brown from the roots to a grey at the tips. Sleipnir trots beside her, standing just as tall as Fenrir now stood. His jagged horn in the middle of his head had grown and pulsed blue like electricity while his white fur hadn't changed.

"We've found Jormungandr…" Sleipnir said as the two siblings moved toward their older brother. The ground continued to crack and tremble. Celestyn kept over the castle walls mounted on one of her wolves and rushed over to Fenrir, blood coated her right sleeve.

"You guys don't need to tell me. I've felt it since I woke up." The castle erupts behind Jereth as a colossal serpent like head begins to slither out. "That necromancer found him first…"

He looked different than the last time he had seen him, but partly didn't phase Fenrir due to Sleipnir and Hel's changes. The serpentine head of Jormangundr slithered out from the ground that once has been the castle. Fenrir gave a heavy sigh and closed his eyes. "I knew this was going too smoothly for my liking."

With the showdown between the siblings about to occur, Dogma and the two young men sat in the marble and white room built into the balcony as well as the two unknown brothers. Now that they could look eye to eye, Terek could feel something similar about the two brothers and himself.

"You need not worry, Young Terek, Jayce." The older brother rubbed his bare chin as he sat there across the two. "We are not here for trouble. However… I do believe a certain Master of yours is making his move. Dogma…"

Dogma sat up and stared into his eyes. "I don't know you yet you know us all…" Dogma's aura began to leak out in an attempt to get a reaction.

The man lifts his hand, palm facing her. "There is no need for intimidation. Our Father plans to awaken the elders."

Her eyes widen. She only knew about the "Elders" from Nendrerth and Eaos who once told her stories about them. "Nendrerth and Eaos told me a couple stories…. But he's actually planning to awaken them?"

The two young men sat beside Dogma confused as to what they were talking about. Terek scoots in and looks at the brothers. "I know I have no place, after seeing your auras that is, but what is going on?"

The oldest of the brothers eyes met Dogmas. "You never told them?"

Hear heart sank as she looked down. "No… I haven't been the best of mothers…"

The oldest brother was about to tell them when the room began to tremble. Dogma's head turns quickly towards the balcony and rushes up over to look. Jayce and Terek looked at eachother then rushed over as well.

"Hmm. I didn't expect that from a mere mortal big brother…" The younger one said softly.

"Nor did I… This talk may be on hold until the Wolf can gain control over the Snake again."

Jayce and Terek looked down from the balcony seeing the world in front of them as Dogma took the helm. Her hands waving in the air as she spun the image before them before stopping to see Jormungandr slither out of what used to be Celestyn's Kingdom. "There's a piece of Chaos in him…" her eyes winced as she tried to examine the situation.

Meanwhile on the ground with Fenrir and his siblings, Celestyn rode back to Fenrir with her unconscious uncle whom she bound with her Celestial magic. Bastian and Fendwyr rode on the back of one of her wolves.

Behind Fenrir, a portal opens. The design and archway were similar of the one the two brothers and Dogma went through. "Take this portal Celestyn. I didn't know he found my brother but I'm sure Dogma can see it too."

"What do you mean?" She started to ask but the woman beside him walked over to the three.

"Jormungandr is our brother, but your uncle has some how found two Fragments of Chaos in doing so, somehow hid one in our brother." Hel glared at her brother as he slithered out of the now ruins of the castle. Rubble and debris falling from between his massive scales as he grew closer and closer. "Take your uncle and leave. While we deal with our brother, I will try and help your people."

Celestyn stared at the three siblings for a moment then took off through the portal with her uncle and wolves.

"Sleipnir, let's try to keep our brother away from the city." Fenrir said as he closes the portal behind him.

Sleipnir nods in agreement then sprints off away from his brother and sister. "Do what you can but don't take too long, Hel."

"I missed you too, Fenrir." She smirked before disappearing into mist.

Fenrir watches his brother, Jormungandr, from a distance. Examining and trying to come up with a plan to remove the Fragment without harm.
