Chapter 122 - For The Last Time [Final Chapter of Volume 1]

"Even if the entire world is against me, I'll still fight."-Jodan

The mood was set. It was about to be a happy ending that everyone desires. Well, will it be a happy ending?

"Yeah' Kill me! Kill me! Kill this villain, Dercy! The villain who took everything from you!"

For a moment Dercy stopped his strike and looked straight into his eyes with bloodthirst.

"I make my own STORY!" Dercy who had stopped in mid-air seemed much more deadly than ever.

"And..I Am the Villain of this Story." Just like that Dercy made his last bow and threw Kurama into the depth of the earth. His arms were all messed up. Kurama who had no power left grinned devilishly.

"Hehehe…" Although he was as good as dead, Dercy rushed to him and held his head out of rage.

"You…." Dercy didn't wait for him to finish but rather kicked his chest with an unbearable force making a crack sound. The bone marrow was indeed harmed by it not only Dercy did that went as far as grabbing his head and…

"What a fabulous power!" Kurama who had his mind twisted laughed for the last time in his life. "Right, Kill me!"

Without feeling the slightest of hesitating, Dercy tore apart Kurama's head off from his body, detaching every Spains. Just for a moment, he glared at the head that had the grin still on and tossed it far away. He had nothing left to do so he scouted the entire room with his dim red eyes. It was proven that this room had become the most disturbing place to stay. Not only the floor but also the ceiling was broken. Dercy was the Doom that made it. His hand that was grossed with blood didn't know why did he do that. Unable to grasp the reason behind the action Dercy took, the hand went on its way to his face and touched it gently.

The rage that manifested him was not gone and he was now under control. The vaporizing steam was coming from his injured body as it was regenerating slowly. It was dark silent only he was unmuted. The surroundings were frozen in their place. His eyes met with the person who was in charge of the army, Soo-young. Although he had no interaction with him Jodan knew him. The fallen head of Soo-young had a pleasant smile on his face. It was half-hidden by the flood of crimson blood. The eyes of Jodan darken as he was finding his way out, swimming through the flooded blood he was going out of this nasty massacred room that only gave him painful memories. Whether or not it would remain in his heart is not the case here. Maybe he might forget about them one day but for now, this room represents the suffering he went through. As he was about made himself out of the room, a certain individual stood up in a panic. Although he had possession of the police department, Jodan simply left him alive. Was it because someone needs to tell the tale? It was uncertain what could be the reason.

"I.."The individual didn't go close to him rather he spoke from his designated

Place. Jodan stopped in his track as if listening to his saying. "I'm sorry…" his eyes were downcasted with shame. "I won't let you go into the other side. I would definitely bring you out of the darkness Jodan!"

His shirking voice definitely reached Jodan but he didn't say anything neither glanced at him back. He was like a monster who forgot how to speak. He is the inhuman monster who just coincidentally came down to this world, forgetting his own monstrous world.

With that Jodan finally came to an end with Reyes who had just stood at his place exhausted. His eyes were saying something that faded away in darks.

The sinister wall way became the way to hell. The blood was still wet but it had a sticky texture to it. As Jodan was barefooted his feet would be stuck on them although he didn't stop in his track.

"Jodan…." The one who spelled it out was a human figure, waiting on the other side of the long hallway, the shining sunlight reflected on his back, making him look like an angel who came from the heavens.

Jodan didn't give a damn and was about to walk past him but the fellow blocked his path.

"Did you do it because of that girl?" It didn't anger in the fellow's speech rather it was worriedness. He might just want to confirm the reason.

Jodan didn't look straight at his eyes rather he downcasted his gaze at the mess of dead bodies. The bodies had been so brutally killed that their families wouldn't able to recognize them. The cruelty was indescribable.

"There was an endless void that resisted inside me. She closed its entrance with her affectionate. But it again opened to take my everything with it. " with that Jodan needed the conversation. The one thing Jodan wanted to say to the fellow was "Live on, Kelen" but for some reason, he couldn't utter it. However, you look at it he has done something that couldn't believe as a human's doing. It can't also be called self-defense. Can it? The boorish scene he created will be recognized in history as the most unforgivable sin. Looking back at Jodan a few times the fellow was acquainted with a big muscular guy who seemed to make a conversation with him although Jodan had already moved to the distance where he couldn't hear it anymore.

As he finally got outside, a raging sun was badmouthing him with intense hatred. The trees were cursing him from the bottom of their hearts. As he eyed up at the sky, the group of birds was shouting at him with a disgusted look. Soon the sadness on his face turned into a sinister grin.

IN THE END, HE BECAME THE ONE HE NEVER INTENDED TO BE.
