I nervously stride my legs towards the stage.
I can even feel tingling stares that were struck behind me, seemingly watching every move that I made. Covering my face with my hair, a smile formed on my lips, and hissed a triumphant silent laughed.
Do they really think that they won or something?
Do they really think that I didn't know what they're planning?
"They're all stupid." My cold words escaped from my lips, literally forgetting that I have to act like the old Viennie Ocampo in front of them all. But my nerves seems to tell me that it's all useless.
The moment that I stepped on the first stair of the stage that will lead me up to the stage, my eagerness to hide my irritation from hearing them murmurs and whispers behind my back, loosened.

'I can no longer control myself.' I thought as I tilted my head to the side. I'm hungry.
My facial muscles loosened, and I felt relaxed. Parting my lips into a small laugh, I heard some of them gasped when I moved my head to looked at them. The whole room went silent, and the only thing that freely create the noise was my high heels, ticking like a heavy 'tick' and 'tocks' of the clock. Counting the time as it continues heavily.

"What's happening?" I heard small voice breaking the silence, that automatically attracted my hunting glares.

It's Melina Boston. Standing side by side with Nera. The latter was startled when she saw me looking at her, silently. Nera freezes like a block of ice, unable to moved even after Melina tried calling for her attention.

Right.

She works under my nose and it's not a surprise to see her tremble under my eyes.

And surprisingly, it really brought me satisfaction.

The next thing that happened seems to slow down everything, after I reached the podium that stood still in the middle of the decorative yet pacious stage. Removing the mask that I've been wearing since I entered the den, I lifted my eyes and looked down on them.

Spreading a smile that held all the coldness and darkness I've held all these years since that very day.

"Hello, my classmates."

It wasn't until another slapped came to my face when I suddenly realized what was happening. Throwing a wide-eyed gaze on her, I could feel my eyes tingling in pain as if it wanted to burst into another sob, that only myself could appreciate.

"What did I do?" I asked Melina who just raise her eyebrows as she look at me. Then a smile suddenly spread on her heavily tinted red lips.

"What did I do?" She said, imitating my voice and expression, as she waved her right hand in front of my face. "Why don't you asked yourself, loser." She spit her final words before grabbing my hair into a handful of it.

Screaming in pain, I panted when she started walking, forcing my feet to follow her while holding her hand that was grabbing my hair. I don't know where we are going because all I did was to try to escape from Melina's hands.

It hurts.

It feels like my scalp would soon be gone from my head, not just for the sake of being bald.

I even thought that it would bleed, and that idea just creeps me out.

'It hurts.'

"Why don't you think of it, yourself, bitch. What did you do wrong?" I heard Melina spoke making me look up to her and saw her creepily smiling as she looked forward, while grabbing me.

'But I don't think I did something wrong.'
It wasn't until the whole surroundings turned dark when I realized the we already was inside a dimly lit room, no, it's a classroom. But why are we here?

"I brought her. Our dear classmate." Melina suddenly speak but for some unknown reason, it came out of her mouth eerily as I stare at her as she spoke.

I moved my eyes to see the faces of the people whom I always thought as my friends and family in this second home.

Until a familiar stare caught my eyes. I stopped to look at 'him', hoping that he'll help me out of the situation but it crumbles into pieces when he looks away.
"Tyron?" I silently called for his name, hoping that it'll reach him but it's useless.

Why?

Why won't he help me?

"Let's begin the punishment game, guys."

"Let's begin the game, classmates." I coldly spoke, drawing a smile on my lips. But, the crowd below me started murmuring and started moving as if they didn't heard me. They must have thought that I'm crazy or just playing around.

"Quit it, loser!" I heard someone among them yelled at me and found out that it was Carlo, one of Tyron's buddy in high school. His familiar face was kept in my memories as if he's marked as one of the prey that I have to hunt as I play my revenge.
I just threw a nonchalant gaze on him as he smirk but he frowned when I smiled back at him.
"I can't quit, Carl. I still have to say the magic word." After saying that, they started murmuring again asking each other what does I mean.
Founding Tyron among the crowds, I stare at him while smiling eerily.
"Let it rain!" I yelled and as if on cue, the fire sprinklers suddenly opened, splashing the red liquid out of it. The familiar scent of the liquid met my nose while I watch them get wet with it. Seeing them reacted and screamed after realizing what happened, I burst out laughing like a villain. I feel like a villainous character inside a tragic novel but it didn't matter to me.
I never even knew that being a villain is so much fun.
Maybe that's the reason why they've been torturing me for fun, way back in our school days. Seeing someone screaming in fear, someone suffering in endless pain, everything about it is fun. This so much fun than what I expected.

"It's, it's blood!" Alexa started screaming.
