Chapter 1 - An Angel and Vampire Meet

"No one's stronger than a vampire, not even a—"

A sudden hand gripping at Dominic's neck effectively cut off more than his sentence. Can't… breathe…

The strange, glowing man tightened his grip and he easily lifted him over the side of his twelve-story apartment building. "You are wrong about that. Any last words?"

Fucking shit! This fucking sucks, I don't want to die! The pathetic thoughts overwhelmed Dominic and he felt bloody tears escape from his shut eyes. "I'll do... anything. So... please... don't kill... me..."

If vampires had normal bodily functions, Jophiel was sure the thing in front of him would have soiled itself. As it were, blood rolled over high cheekbones and Jophiel's heart rate spiked. The struggling thing's fangs stuck out from thick lips clamped together as the vampire thrashed and his thoughts grew louder and louder inside Jophiel's head.

I'll do anything, I'll do anything, I'll do anything! Just don't kill me!

"You... will do anything, you say?"

Dominic felt a sudden breeze around him and sweet air fill his lungs. And then just as suddenly, he hit the hard concrete of the roof and rolled to a pathetic stop, his body slow to send shockwaves of pain throughout his entire being. What the… hell?

The angel floated over to him, and Dominic's body refused to listen to his commands to get up and defend himself. "I threw you hard enough to break every bone in your body," said the angel, "So you will be incapacitated for a few moments more."

Dominic's brain was still too sluggish to keep up with the heavenly being, whose too perfect features closed in, somehow now only a few centimeters away. Eyes the color of clouds were stark against umber skin, and they pinned him down into the rough concrete beneath him.

"If you do what I say, I may let you live." The musical voice cut through Dominic's frenzied thoughts and he relaxed slightly despite himself.

"Yes," he breathed, more easily than before when he had been choked. "I'll do whatever you want."

Silence.

Is he… frozen? Dominic's was still dizzy, but the angel who had been in constant motion since chasing him to the roof now looked like a statue.

Jophiel couldn't stop gazing at the creature below him. The vampire's thoughts had slowed and grown quieter as his body began to heal, but all Jophiel could focus on was the promise the vampire had unwittingly given. He'll do anything… Hmm. "Get on your knees and repent."

Get on my knees and WHAT? Dominic blinked up at the angel in front of him. What the fuck is this dude's problem?

"Do you want to live or not, Dominic? On. Your. Knees."

The angel pronounced it doe-min-ic instead of the usual dah-min-ic, and Dominic felt desire rear its dark head at the combination of the command and its foreignness. It had been decades since someone tried to command him, and indignation swelled in his chest, even as his dick twitched in his boxers, stiffening as his bones cracked deliciously back into place. Who the hell does this guy think he is?

"Such a wretched creature," Jophiel sneered, not missing the growing erection, nor his disgruntled thoughts. "Maybe I should kill you after all; scum like you should not be—"

The vampire blurred out of his sight, and Jophiel couldn't help but admire the speed of his regeneration. He is stronger than he looks, this... Dominic.

When the wretched thing appeared before him again, Jophiel's mouth dried. Such a slim back, he thought as the curvature of Dominic's spine peaked through the thin shirt he wore. All things felt light to an angel of his caliber, but when he'd been dangling the vampire over the roof edge, he'd gripped him tighter. Not to end the fun so soon, but it had felt like trying to hold down feathers. Hardly anything at all.

Dominic was indeed on his knees. They dug into his chest, and he wondered how long the other being would make him stay in this position. The leather band he usually used to tie his long auburn hair back had been lost somewhere along the way, and it now blocked the angel from his sight.

"I repent for my sins." Dominic said slowly as he bowed his head, bringing his hands together in front of him a prayer-like gesture.

Jophiel's nose felt strange. He swiped at it, and felt warmth smear across his fingers. When he looked, a clear liquid glinted off his fingers, grotesque and undignified, and he furrowed his eyebrows. Being of heaven as he was,, he had complete control over his faculties at all times. His body had never had an involuntary reaction like this before.

The slight movement of the vampire raising its head drew Jophiel's attention again and more liquid trickled from his nose. Dominic's dark eyes, wide and defenseless, stared at him head on, and the dried blood tracks on his cheeks-- those angular, sculpted cheeks-- made it appear as though that alabaster skin were blushing. Jophiel felt a strange heat stir within him.

"Strip."

The command surprised both men, Jophiel jumping slightly at his guttural tone and Dominic flinching from the absolute authority he felt pressing down upon him. Is he enjoying this? Dominic watched in bewilderment as the angel's supple lips glinted with strange fluid running from both of his wide-set nostrils.

"What does that have to do with repenting?"

"Nevermind then." The angel moved even faster than Dominic's superior gaze could follow, so there was no time to defend himself as elegant fingers wove themselves through his hair. It was only because Dominic was a vampire that he was able to pull back against the overwhelming strength in his grip to face the stormy eyes looking down on him. "I do not accept your repentance," the angel hissed as he reached for something at his side.

Frosty metal dug into the bruising flesh of Dominic's neck, and he shivered at the long blade that seemed to glow. Alright, fine! Fuck!

"I-I'll do it!" He hastily reached for the hem of his t-shirt, scared to break eye contact with the being towering over him.

The blade bit into his skin momentarily before the angel slowly retracted it, the sharp edge sliding against his hardened flesh. "Not here. Back to the edge of the roof." The angel released him from the painful hold.

The edge of the roof? Fear and excitement swelled within Dominic and his fingers fumbled to remove his shirt. He said he can read my mind, does he know that I—

That you like when people watch, you filthy dog? Jophiel smirked to himself as the vampire left a trail of discarded clothes behind him on his way to the edge. His eyes were drawn to Dominic's hunched shoulders but traveled lower.

"Like this?" Dominic asked. He looked over his shoulder as he stood on the ledge as he was told. He's so beautiful. He balked at the thought, though it was undeniably true. The angel's curly shoulder-length silver hair suited his stormy eyes and long eyelashes. His angular jaw and thick lips were features Dominic liked on any face, but the perfection of angelic proportions put all others to shame.

He's taller than I thought too. They'd been in constant motion since the angel hunted him down earlier that evening. All Dominic had gathered was that the other being was large and powerful. Now, time seemed frozen, and Dominic had the leisure to— naked, on the edge of the roof— realize that the angel was well over six feet tall.

Jophiel let the vampire stare him down, if only to compose himself. The others had always chided him for being a little too eager to exact punishment, but they all knew he was the best at the job. For centuries, Jophiel had meted out punishment as he saw fit, matching the severity of the punishment to the offense of the sin. And in each punishment, he relished the helplessness in sinners' eyes when they realized there could be no amount of repenting to absolve them of their fate.

What is this vampire doing to me? His feet touched the concrete once more as he took a step forward, recognizing that the rational thing to do was end the creature now. With each step, Jophiel increased the wind speed and pressure around the building, and felt a curious warmth spread through his belly.

Dominic gripped his arms and faced forward as he dug his toes into the concrete of the ledge, looking down at the traffic below. He could make out a few humans walking It was always windy this high up, but the force of it had suddenly increased and kept increasing. Is he doing this? Fucker.

The wind seemed to push against him hard in response and fear left a bitter taste in the back of his throat. His body could heal from a crushed windpipe, but not a crushed… everything. Bastard, if you're just gonna kill me in the end—

Despite the divots Dominic's toes made in the concrete, the wind managed to push him off the edge mid-thought, and all the anger and words he'd ever had left him. Now all he felt was gravity forcing him closer to the ground, a violent push and pull down.

Jophiel watched the vampire's descent from the edge of the roof, slowing time down so the fall would feel like an eternity for his prey. Focusing on that chalk-white face was enough to make the angel lose all sense of reason.

Those dark eyes that initially looked at him in arrogance were now wide with helplessness, the unique sheen of terror made them glossy even at a distance. Or is he about to cry? The possibility of the latter being true… Now that was a pleasant prospect.

I want to keep seeing that face.

Jophiel's wings breathed a sigh of relief as he glided down to his falling vampire, his breath catching as those frightened eyes met his own. He felt a tightening somewhere deep inside his stomach, and an image popped into his mind of the vampire lying on his stomach, his backside completely exposed. Was that him… or me?

Jophiel could only focus on the little bubbles of blood welling up in the vampire's eyes. There was only room for one thought.

"If you do what I ask, I promise to spare your life. And we angels are unable to break our promises."

"Y-y-yes! Please save—"

Everything seemed to stop before picking up speed again and Dominic found himself on his back, staring up at the night sky, more or less unharmed. Due to the late hour, there were no pedestrians, but cars drove by often. All Dominic could think was, I'm alive?

"Yes, yes you are alive. On your knees. Now."

The angel hovered above him and Dominic's eyes burned from the sight of milky white wings clear against the night sky, spots of gold in the feathers that seemed to pulse with every wingbeat. Angels really are beautiful.

In a trance, Dominic did what he was told, unable to take his eyes off the otherworldly being in front of him. The unrelenting coldness that had emanated from the angel was replaced with inescapable heat. Not just from the wings— all of him burned Dominic, somehow.

"Do you know why I was sent for you?"

Dominic shivered at the primal edge in the angel's question. "N-no, I d—"

Jophiel gripped Dominic's jaw and forced his chin back, filling Dominic's eyes with electric irises. "Do not lie to me."

The vampire blinked up at him and Jophiel could hear nothing but Dominic's elevated breath.

Such a vain thing to get distracted by my appearance.

"Since you seem to be robbed of your faculties for the moment, I shall enlighten you."

Jophiel covered the vampire's forehead rather than his eyes, because he wanted to see them as they saw his past sins. He wanted to see the moment when Dominic realized that he should have wished for death instead.

Dominic blinked at the sight in front of him in confusion.

Somehow, he was watching his own back bend over someone. From the way his own shoulders were hunched, Dominic knew he was feeding. But I've been left alone for centuries, why now? And then he noticed them.

The bright red dress shoes belonged to only one person. Before he could further process the memory in front of him, everything around him seemed to melt and shift into another memory. This time however, Dominic faced his past self head on, again feeding, this time on a different person.

"Do you comprehend now?" Jophiel asked, watching the confusion in the vampire's eyes be replaced with realization. But those dark eyes that had been so appealing when on the verge of tears were now filled with indignation.

Jophiel pulled his hand away and frowned, loosening his hold on the vampire's jaw. "You feel no remorse for your victims?"

"I-if you're here because of those lowlifes, then I won't 'repent.'"

Dominic attempted to rise to his feet, but the air pushed into his shoulders and prevented him from moving a muscle. You've got to be shitting me...

"I am not 'shitting' you, Dominic." Jophiel's fingers curled tight around the vampire's chin, tighter than before, and he watched carefully as that defiant expression cracked. "You would prefer death?"

"If I die for taking scum like them out of this world, then do it, sparkles."

"Sparkles?" Jophiel smiled slightly at the snapping bone beneath his fingers as he squeezed, the effort requiring little force. "You know, for someone naked in the middle of the street, at the mercy of one of the supreme beings of this universe, you sure are confident."

Dominic's tongue felt thicker than usual due to his now mending jaw bone, but he forced the words out. "Swince yer alweady diggin in my 'ead, 'ind owt why."

Jophiel loathed the idea of lowering himself to listen to the creature, but the conviction radiating from him, even through his shattered jaw, gave him pause. He needled further into Dominic's memories, delighting in the hisses of pain from the vampire.

Does he realize he has gripped my robe? Jophiel wondered idly, still unable to find the source of the vampire's bravado.

Dominic shut his eyes against the pins and needles that seemed to fill his mind as the angel gripped his forehead again. Through the pain he could faintly hear cars passing by, some slowing down before speeding back up. Are people… watching?

He squeezed the cool, silky material the angel wore, feeling his dick swell again at the mere thought despite the position he was in.

"I… see." Jophiel took a step back from the perplexing creature in front of him.

Dominic hardly noticed the change in the angel, too focused on trying to penetrate through the passing cars' insulation fast enough to listen in on its passengers. To see if they had noticed them standing in the street. I need… release. It didn't help that the angel smelled better than even AB-, his favorite.

"However, it is not your job to pass judgment on the wicked." For some reason Jophiel felt hot where the vampire leaned against him. "Let go of me, and turn around. And lean forward."

Dominic's body mindlessly complied with the request and the concrete dug into his palms and knees. With more contact to the ground, he could sense footsteps three blocks away, heading their direction.

"Did I not say lean forward?" The same dense pressure from before overcame Dominic, this time hard enough to slam his head into the concrete.

"W-what are you p-p-planing?" Dominic's dick twitched with anticipation as he counted down the seconds until the footsteps would be upon them. His mouth felt dry as his ears honed in one the sound of clicking hills on concrete "Anyone could see—"

Your legs."

Such obscene orders! Even as Jophiel thought this, he felt his vocal cords vibrating to dictate those vulgar actions. Each Angel had their quirks, developed over encountering humans since their creation . There were a few that had... predilections, but only when it came to humans. None would dare touch such a lowly and perverted creature as a vampire, and certainly never the likes of the one in front of him. Yet Jophiel felt himself responding as Dominic followed his command with labored breath. I know someone is "coming," because I placed them there.

With the vampire in his current position, Jophiel could see the most vulnerable part of him, twitching from the exposure along with his above average cock leaking precum onto the sidewalk.

"Now say, 'I am nothing but garbage and I do not deserve to be given mercy.'"

Just then, the owner of the approaching footsteps turned the corner and began walking toward them. Jophiel reduced his Heavenly Presence to allow the vampire to lift his head in the newcomer's direction.

"Dominic. I am waiting."

He's doing this on purpose. Dominic knew he was right as the stranger, a woman, walked closer and closer to them. Somehow, she had yet to notice them. Through the curtain of his hair he could tell she was the type of woman he'd relentlessly pursue under normal circumstances . Long hair, a large bust, and shapely hips, all well showcased by the red dress she wore. A feast on heels.

But all he could focus on as she came closer was the angel at his backside, feeling his presence grow stronger. His inner thigh became slick from the sudden gush of precum his dick expelled when the woman's eyes met his.

Jophiel hovered above the vampire, lowering himself so that his hand could easily reach vulnerable, quivering flesh. Lightly, so lightly as to not distract Dominic from the woman (for an angel, human and vampire alike were easy to manipulate) ,, Jophiel placed one hand on the vampire's ass.

He raised back the other, imbuing the surface of his palm with heat before striking Dominic with more strength than he had used all evening. "Hngghhh!"

Dominic saw the woman's eyes widen in shock at the grunt that left his trembling lips before his eyelids fluttered shut from the pain radiating from his ass and up his lower back. The force of the movement should have sent him flying, but the angel's grip prevented him from moving an inch.

"Say the words, Dominic." The angel's musical voice was full of discordant undertones as the hand that smacked him rubbed the smarting flesh it struck.

"But that woman—"

The pain from the second slap blinded him and he felt his cock throb for release as the woman let out an audible gasp.

"Just look at how that filthy part wants to be seen. I shall grant your request if you say. Those. Words." Jophiel punctuated the end of his sentence with another mind-bending slap.

He's right… Dominic thought in a daze as more precum dripped out of him. I want more.

Dominic turned to face the object of his growing desire and felt himself clench at the tempest raging in those glittering eyes staring at him in absolute concentration. As if possessed, he reached for the muscular hand digging into his ass cheek and pushed it slightly to expose more of himself. "I am nothing but garbage and I do not deserve to be given mercy."

Jophiel blinked at his vampire who leaned forward even more. I want to taste him.

He reached Dominic's neck, this time only gripping with enough force to prevent escape as he lifted him back to his feet, hovering just off the ground behind him. "Touch yourself."

Dominic eagerly grabbed at his erection, hissing in relief as his calloused hand moved up and down the rigid, aching length. The hand at his neck moved to his chin and forced him to meet the astonished gaze of the woman. He felt a tongue lick at the ridge of his ear. "This is what you like, is it not?"

The combination of the woman's eyes, the deep bass of the angel's tone, and the furious movement of his hand pushed Dominic over the edge.

"I-I like it!"

Jophiel watched as thick streams of cum erupted from Dominic's twitching cock, some hitting the skirt of the woman's dress. His shuddering body rubbed against Jophiel and felt the same strange liquid from before leak from his nose in addition to a tightening under his robe.

Does this filthy vampire, of all beings… Am I turned on?

The shock from the realization caused Jophiel to drop the illusion, as well as Dominic. Have I been corrupted?

Dominic, whose mind still floated in post-coital bliss, missed the change in scenery and could only dreamily blink at the night sky as he fell to the ground once more. He barely touched me and I fucking exploded like a virgin.

His naked back's impact with asphalt effectively ended the glow, and embarrassment swiftly replacing it. Dominic's brain couldn't process what his body had, despite his being more than human. Not fast enough, anyway.. As if sensing his turmoil, the angel hovered over him once more, eyes blazing.

"I said I would spare your life. I said nothing about sparing your punishment."
