Gorr came crashing down to the iceberg with a dark face. He admitted that Thor was more powerful than any God that he faced before. Moreover, he was nimble and smart with a great sense of battle which gave him an edge.
Fortunately, he wasn't perfect like other gods. He lacked experience and comprehensive knowledge about him, so this wasn't a hopeless fight in his view.
" Come on, God."
Gorr flew back to Thor, kicking him down to the ocean while summoning dark meteors from the sky. The shadow directly dived into the ocean, dragging Thor down to the abyss of darkness.
Gorr narrowed his eyes with a calm face, expecting Thor to be in the bed of the ocean but the surface of the ocean burst like a big bubble as Thor flew over to him. He dragged Gorr through his clothes while throwing him to the sky.
Then he spun his hammer with incredible speed, chasing after him to finish him off but how a seasoned hunter like Gorr could make a mistake.
He came crashing down to him through the inertia of his acceleration while grabbing Thor's cape. His hand bulged under his strength, sending Thor to another area as Thor pierced the ice with his body.
The huge iceberg was destroyed under their battle, creating tidal waves around the area which caused chaos.
The scream of the people reached Thor's ears, begging for help from the gods. They thought this was a tribulations from the gods, so they did everything to appease their fury.
" Bastard!"
Thor stood before the wave with his tattered clothes, dispersing it with his strength. However, Gorr who was hiding behind the wave, took advantage of his momentarily opening with a swift move.
The sword penetrated his armor, leaving a deep wound near his kidney but Thor persisted with a pale face. He grabbed the sword with his one hand while spinning his hammer with great force.
Gorr tried to release himself from the grip but how could Thor let his enemy go, so he held the sword even if it was hurting and corroding him.
" Die, bastard!"
Gorr took a hammer with his face, crushing it down to the ocean while Thor knelt on the ice. He touched the place where his wound was, seeing blood for the first time.
" How ironic! An alien would hurt me."
After saying that he blanked out, hitting the ice with his face. His blood slowly crept to the ocean, while he was carried by the people.
Back to the present.
Arthur was looking at the report with a headache. His face darkened when he saw the potential assault behind this scene while browsing the report.
" Sigh* They even dared to battle in my territory. Tell me, how do I deal with you?"
Arthur put the report down while looking at the pale man with a sharp look. He put his hands on the table, gently playing the rhythm with his fingers but to the man, each finger excluded immense pressure that weighed his body down.
" I promise it wasn't my intention to destroy the museum or the people in London. I just needed that scarab because a voice in my head was telling me to get it while the creatures attacked me first."
Arthur folded his arms when he heard his words, glancing behind his back with a cold face. His finger lit up a holy fire, firing toward the wall next to the man.
Bang*
To his surprise, the energy was blocked by some entity that was invisible to others. A deep voice came behind the man.
" You must be brave to challenge a god. Do you think your measly power could hurt me?"
Before he could finish his words, Arthur cut his speech with a knock on the table. His calm eyes weren't fazed by the god behind the man because he was a guardian of mankind.
" As a god, you dare to barge into man's land, creating chaos among the people while hurting and killing so many citizens. Tell me, God of the unknown name. Do I have to renounce myself and all other heroes as your enemy? Because certainly your apostle can't handle all these heroes by himself and certainly your pantheon wouldn't want that."
God fell into silence, knowing he was telling the truth.
