Chapter 680 - Chapter 3 Assemble

Hela and others sat on the table while Artemis stood before them with a calm face. She coughed with a cold tone, looking at Asgardians with slight annoyance because they would always make things difficult for her.

" The recent news said that the item had been spotted near this country aka Wakanda. I haven't been able to contact their God but I believe they took this item from a black market seller according to my brother."

Loki raised his hand, putting his staff on the table while yawning with a bored face. He wasn't interested in the mission rather he wanted to study that item since Asgardian magic differed from Olympus and it was a good chance to get something from them.

" I know Apollo is a reliable God but how can we be sure and what is our reward? You don't expect Gods like us to work free, right?"

Artemis gritted her teeth with hatred, looking at Loki who threw away her plan like it was nothing. She wanted to shoot him to death but she couldn't do that, so she simply closed her eyes to calm down.

" Our Father will reward you according to Gods fact. I don't think it is a bad proposition since you lost your realm."

Hela's hand almost burned the room down as she glared at her with coldness. Both of the goddesses almost went for their throats but thankfully Arthur intervened. He chilled the room with his ice power, observing them with a calm attitude while gesturing for Thor to calm down because he noticed Thor wasn't sitting idly.

Artemis was a certainly powerful goddess but Thor and Hela were growing stronger every day after building their home and world tree. Hence, the battle would certainly cast destruction upon them.

" I understand it. I will move there with my protégé. However, you must comply with my rules. I want you to avoid hurting mortals because Gods are too much even for the superhumans."

Artemis didn't refute him, nodding to affirm his direction while keeping her cool against Hela who snorted coldly under Arthur's eyes. She expressed her dissatisfaction with her face but Arthur didn't give in to that as he remained adamant about his stance.

" Star, prepare for the deployment and notify Wakanda. I don't want to invade their country without notice. Besides, also bring Constantine and Wanda to me."

Arthur wore his simple coat, prompting his peaceful intent on others as Thor and Loki changed into casual clothes. Hela and Artemis still chose to wear their armor, feeling a little bit odd about giving them up since they always wore it.

" Bloody bullocks, you don't rest for a minute will ya?"

Constantine came out from the portal with Zatanna who wanted to accompany them since she was bored back in her home. Wanda also appeared with her iconic jacket as she raised her eyebrows when she saw Artemis.

" It isn't like I have a choice. It appears we are going for a lost divine item and we might need some magic help."

Constantine groaned when he heard about God involvement because he hated gods as like as demons since they were arrogant bunches in his view. Especially, after dealing with a few bloody gods, he was sick of them.

" Where will we go, teacher?"

Wanda asked with a calm face, calmly writing notes for Vision on her tablet. The school was starting soon, so she had to remind kids of the preparation and she didn't have time to do that.

" Wakanda. It shouldn't last long."

Arthur smiled with an apologetic face as they warped to Wakandan territory but instead of a normal teleportation device, a dark cave waited for them as they saw nothing but darkness.

The sound of water dripping reached their ears as they smelled a mossy smell of a cave. The bats were enraged by the sudden light, flopping around them to warn them but Arthur shunned them with a single wave of his hand.

" What is the meaning of this? Where are we?"

Thor was puzzled by the sudden warp, not knowing what to do in this situation. It was obvious that they were sent in a different direction and he felt something was wrong.

" Well, this is a big surprise."

Hela spoke casually, observing the cave to find what was wrong in the first place.
