The light brightly illuminated the sky as the screams of otherworldly beings reached people's ears, yet none of them were able to reach them due to a certain individual who was blocking them with his power.
" None shall pass me."
Arthur protected the entire dimension with his power, blocking the entity that was trying to barge into the dimension. This being was an elder God who was banished from this plane, representing ultimate power and violence with destruction.
His entire way was tainted with blood and he knew no mercy like Dormammu who also hated Arthur and Strange. These beings already transcended time and space, thus it would be impossible to defeat them in their true form.
That is why he had to stop the dimensional corruption. Otherwise, the world would be doomed forever under their immense power.
" You try to stop me, guardian. Your pitiful people desire violence, yet you try to stop that. How long will you do that? A hundred years? You are just a mortal. I know you can die like others despite your godly power. Tell me Arthur, can you stop me?"
A big entity's body could be seen from the mist, his big palm pointed at Arthur who was glancing at him with a calm face.
" Cyttorak. You don't belong here. Like Dormammu, you only seek destruction for your vanity."
Cytorak burst out with laughter, looking at Arthur with a murderous look. He wanted to tear him apart and throw his remains to the nothingness, but the dimensional barrier was still there and he had limited power here.
" We will meet again, Arthur. You can't stop me forever."
Arthur grinned at his words while snapping his finger which stopped his descent. Cyttorak didn't seem to be bothered by his arrogance because he had no way to stop him.
" Until then goodbye, my friend. You know I am not alone, right?"
Cyttorak snorted at his remark, believing there was no one who could stop him and Arthur should know this.
Arthur looked at the sky once again, taking a deep breath while relaxing his body. He felt fortunate that he was able to chase him away without any weapon or power. He was prepared for the worst, thankfully he wasn't all sunshine.
Someone like Constantine would be able to trick and scam them since he even tricked someone near omniscient.
" That leaves them."
Arthur's eyes shifted to the villains as he accelerated down to the ground.
Meanwhile, on the ground, Old Peter kicked away Norman with a sharp turn while looking at Otto. He knew Otto was a good man and he wasn't willing to fight them, so he did what was right.
" Professor, listen to me. You can be better than this. I know you have sacrificed yourself for the greater good. Look at this. Do you think everything would return to normal and your wife would agree with you?"
Otto who listened to his words, took a deep breath. His expression was the same as usual and he was getting closer to them which was a delight to Norman.
" You are right, but I am a villain. However, even villains have a bottom line. Go, Peter. Stop this before everything is too late."
Otto blocked Norman's way with a cold face while waving him to go fast. He pulled down his goggles, extending his tentacles to lock down the area.
" Are you out of your mind? We could change everything. You are giving up everything for your morals?"
Norman detonated the bomb right in front of him but Otto protected his face with his tentacles. He quickly spun around the narrow corridor, bringing the area down with him while Norman tried to escape, yet a tentacle was able to reach his ankle. It dragged down to bars but Norman climbed on his board.
" Sandman, stop him. You can see your daughter."
However, Flint who witnessed Otto's resolve hesitated for a moment. He wasn't fully convinced in the first place and he wasn't even a villain.
" You can change your way. Please!"
Peter pleaded with a soft tone which made Flint shake. Flint who raised his fist, halted his attack to think.
" Go."
He whispered silently while looking at the sky one last time. Maybe he saw something there and it affected his decision.
