Chapter 669 - Chapter 208 The past

Arthur looked at the young couple with his wide eyes, smiling gently under his mask while Peter also noticed this. He couldn't help but feel embarrassed because he was like his carbon copy except he was more mature than this world's version.

" Do you have someone?"

Old Peter noticed Amazing Peter was glaring at the couple with nostalgia in his eyes but he never admitted his question because he wasn't worthy of it. The deep past wounds ached as they both sighed at the same time.

" Younglings, they can't hide their feelings. Tell me, Mr. Frost. Do you have any family? For me, I have a son and he is my world."

Norman showed the picture of Harry from his pocket while Arthur nodded with a smile. He also pulled out the picture of his children with him, knowing everyone had family there.

Whether they were evil or not, humans were emotional creatures, and that made Arthur feel like a living being, not a God or a celestial.

" Mr. Osborn, I know you are trying to suppress that madness inside you. Tell me, how long are you going to last because I see it is slowly gaining momentum?"

Norman smiled wryly at his words, not denying it completely since it was the truth. He was barely holding to his consciousness and his madness corrupting his mind but somehow Arthur managed to see through that.

He wasn't completely sure whether Arthur could see through him or not but one thing was sure, he was keeping eye on them.

" Jesus, it took me forever to get here. Here, is the item that you ordered."

Happy was drowning in his sweat as he handed the cylinder to Arthur which he took like it was nothing. He then put the thing inside the box, cooling it with liquid nitrogen.

Knock*

May entered the room with cool drinks while everyone turned their heads toward Peter who was awkwardly scratching his head with an embarrassed face because he spilled the beans to her.

" Anyone want a cool drink?"

She politely handed the drinks to them while Lizard dodged her hand with a nervous face but yet she didn't shy away from him, handing cold drink to him with a smile. However, she ignored Happy who was clearly showing a puppy face.

" Thank you for your hospitality. I don't have much but this should do."

Arthur knew about Peter and his family because he swore that Peter was too kind. His family was middle class but to his eyes, they were poor. Especially Peter who struggled to pay his payments, so he pulled out a gold bar from his space which dazzled everyone's eyes except Peter and Norman who were used to this kind of thing.

" This?"

May was bewildered by the sudden gold bar and she dropped it on the ground with shock. The gold bar gently floated before her eyes while Arthur threw it to Peter who also almost dropped it.

" What the fuck? You have a gold bar in your pocket?"

Max couldn't process what was happening and he almost reached out to his pocket.

" Trust me, you don't want to touch it."

Arthur warned him with a serious face while the latter retracted his hand with a calm face. He thought Arthur was joking but he was dead serious because rarely Arthur checked his dimensional pocket.

There might be something serious and dangerous hiding there and God who knows what would happen if Max pulled out something like that.

" So, how does that work? Is it some kind of foldable space technology?"

Otto was interested in his technology and Arthur didn't hesitate to answer to his surprise.

" Magic, my friend. The world is much bigger than you think and in terms of both technology and magic, I am the leading figure. Of course, I also created foldable space storage which is very popular in my world."

The blue device appeared on the table and everyone's attention was drawn to it. Most of the world and planets lacked a fundamentally understanding of space technology, yet Arthur was able to create something like this which was much more advanced than human technology.

" Why didn't you create time technology then?"

Old Peter asked but Arthur looked at him with a serious face and answered with a single sentence.
