Reed looked at his bleeding nose with a complicated face while cleaning himself up. He knew he deserved this and he knew he was being an asshole when he was with Arthur. Perhaps, he shouldn't have touched it like Arthur said but it was too late to regret and he had to make things right.
The gray strands in his hair showed his thoughts as he washed himself up. The gentle running sound of tap water refreshed his mind, telling him what to do now.
" I need to bring them back."
He pulled out hand towels from the side, leaving the room with a hasty step.
Meanwhile inside the meeting room.
Arthur frowned with a calm face while pondering what he should do now since he couldn't prevent Victor from becoming a danger. He saw his soul and knew he had some relationship with his old enemy from Hell which made his head throb with pain.
" Connect me with Hela."
The screen lit up brightly, showing Hela who was busy due to government work. She raised her head, looking at him with a calm face. Perhaps, she knew what he was going to say here.
" I think Hell is moving again behind our back. This time it will be bigger than before."
Arthur didn't hide the fact that Hell was moving without one of its rulers as Hela straightened her face.
" I see. I expected this from them but this was too soon. We are still expanding and dealing with new government agent heroes."
Both of them sighed from the stress despite being gods, Arthur leaned on his chair to relax a little bit but it felt heavy.
" Where do you think they will focus their attention first?"
Arthur asked with a light tone, pointing at the different cities across the globe. Most of them had one similar point and that was being a super wealthy city. He guessed that devils would focus on ultra-rich and dense cities to maximize their efficiency and he was right.
" Probably the USA which is out of jurisdiction. If my guess is right it is either LA or LV."
Hela believed they wouldn't be bold enough to fight with them directly because that was the worst decision they could make. Not only did they have heroes, gods, angels, devils, and others in their force, but Hela and Arthur could kill one of the rulers easily without help from others even though Arthur was weakened.
" Then I will send Strange and Wanda to inspect the area, but I believe things would be complicated. Government wouldn't sit idly if we enter their territory and I don't want to deal with them."
Arthur sighed with a bitter face while Hela contemplated whether she should move or not but she was too big a threat for them and they would surely notice if she and her siblings went there.
In a parallel universe, something unexpected was happening during their conversation. This universe's Peter who failed to protect his identity, stood before Strange who was trying to help him.
Furthermore, they were using forbidden spells to erase people's memories but Peter who was a jinx, screwed up spells badly.
" You, fool! Now I have to revert it or erase everyone's memory."
Peter almost choked when he heard Strange's angry voice as the latter tried to revert his spell back. However, Peter who was scared of losing his loved ones, took away the spell medium while running out of the building.
" Give me the box, Peter. Otherwise, things would turn really bad."
Strange tried to persuade him but Peter wasn't having it because he lacked knowledge about magic.
" If I give this to you, can you keep their memories intact?"
He questioned him with anxiety, expecting a good answer from him but Strange didn't satisfy his curiosity. He silently shook his head, gesturing him to give up.
Peter decided to run away from him, swinging back to the building but Strange easily caught him with his spells. He pushed his palm to his chest, banishing his soul away from his body.
" How did you do that?"
Peter was bewildered by this sudden development, not understanding how this happened to him.
" You will understand it if you read about sorcery. Now then, let's take this."
Strange attempted to take the box, yet somehow Peter's body moved without its soul.
