Thwart, boom*
Kyle wiped his sweat, looking at the hologram with rage inside his eyes. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't defeat him, much less kill him. The bittersweet taste of helplessness filled his mouth, shrouding his mind with confusion.
" Why couldn't I defeat him? Why must my parents have to suffer while I do here nothing?"
He mumbled, slumping on the ground with a defeated face. He witnessed his father being almost killed again and again after battles and he couldn't do anything to help him.
His siblings were too young to help him but he was 10000 years old high elf who got the blessing of all things.
" You look tired."
Suddenly, he heard a familiar voice, looking at Arthur who was leaning on the wall with a smile. He was holding an ice popsicle in his hand, handing it to him with a gentle look.
" Father, I!"
Before he could say something Arthur pushed a popsicle into his mouth as Kyle rolled on the ground with brain freeze. He never thought Arthur would put cold ice into his mouth directly without care.
" Kyle, me and Tyrande don't blame you for your weakness. Everyone will have time to grow up and you are growing up fast enough. You are both an idol and leader to your people and siblings, so don't push yourself too hard. The enemies that we face are much stronger than you think. By the way, are you free for a week?"
Arthur patted his shoulder, laughing with a calm face. He was proud of his children who forged their ways. He knew he had complicated relationships with many women but he didn't care because life was all about being balanced between duty and irresponsibility.
Thus, he considered taking a vacation with his family after talking with Tyrande.
" I am free, father."
Kyle suspected that Arthur might have planned something for him and he thought it was different from the mission since his face was relaxed instead of his usual semi-serious face.
" We will visit World Tree. You miss your home and friends, right? Also, your mothers and siblings are going together, so we will have fun. I am going to catch some big fish."
Hearing his words made Kyle grin as he felt warm. Their family is probably the busiest one in the world, yet Arthur was willing to share time with his family.
Especially, he felt good when he heard Arthur was going to catch fish with him because they rarely went out together.
" Yes, father."
Arthur burst out with laughter, patting his shoulder with expectations in his eyes. He truly felt grateful for having him as a son because he was the most filial son in his mind. Perhaps, his father would be the same as him, but that was in the past. Now he hoped his father would be proud of him, raising such a beautiful family instead of him.
" Go tell your siblings and grab some things. This dad is gonna show you the biggest fish that you have ever seen in your life."
He said with a smile, thinking he might be turning old. He mocked Tony and Steve for going fishing with their children but now he felt the same as them.
Meanwhile in Azeroth
Three shadows loomed in the forest as they quickly dashed around the trees to catch something.
" Got it. One for me, zero for you, Sylvanas."
Vereesa raised a rabbit in her hands as she glanced at her sister with a smug face. Sylvanas's mouth twitched from annoyance as she snorted coldly.
" Vereesa, you have improved a lot. What were you doing during the mission?"
Alleria laughed at Sylvanas who was pouting on the rock with a sullen face. She knew Sylvanas was proud of her skill but this time she lost to her younger sister who went out to explore.
" I saw a lot of new things, sister. The humans were bustling in the new cities with orcs, goblins, and trolls. Although there was animosity towards each other in other regions, I believe they are reaching a new era of peace."
Vereesa said in excitement, looking forward to the future. The sight of many races blending with peace was truly wonderful in her mind.
