Chapter 608 - Chapter 114 Worldwide Recruitment

" How about we announce our staff recruitment along with superhumans?"

Scott spoke lightly, creating diverse opinions among the people. Some thought it was a risky move if they considered the current situation while some thought it was feasible because the first generation of people in Eden were originally recruited by Arthur.

" I think it is a good idea. Eden has to open its door sooner or later anyway to society. We can't escape from politics and the economic world."

Arthur nodded at him with affirmation, silencing others in the room. The meeting ended with his affirmation of recruitment as Arthur had to move urgently because he sensed something was approaching. His sixth sense reached a new realm despite his depowered self and he knew who was coming to Earth.

" Will you be alright?"

Tyrande asked with worry in her tone, knowing Arthur liked to take a risk despite his intelligence. He was a man who prioritized his people over him.

" It will be fine, probably."

Arthur dodged her glare as he gulped when he saw his family members looking at him with dissatisfaction. Even though he was the clan leader and most powerful human on this planet, he couldn't escape responsibility as the head of the family.

" Just come back safely. You don't have to risk yourself anymore because your children will soon inherit your will."

Natasha said calmly, believing their children were trying to take their stress off their shoulders. She was glad their children were filial to their children since they were aging rapidly. Although they had much more life expectations than normal humans, their mental fatigue was several times higher than normal people.

Thus, she yearned to retire but her duty as a hero was calling her constantly. This was the same for other women. Even Alfred and Edward who were responsible for their mansion were extremely busy.

" Then I am off."

Arthur looked at the sky, disappearing into the sky.

Meanwhile outside the planet

Arishem was looking at Eternals with indifference in his gaze. He never thought his creations would fail him but they rebelled against his will, so he had to retract them back. Unfortunately, some of them were away from Earth, so he took the ringleaders away, including Pasthos, Sersi, Ajak, Kingo, and Ikaris who disappointed him.

However, something unexpected happened to him. There was a human standing before him with a calm face despite their enormous power gap.

" State your goal, human."

He asked about his goal, believing Arthur was here for them. Even so, it didn't matter to him because there was practically no chance to take them away from him forcefully.

" Celestial, I beseech you to spare them. They did nothing wrong and I can give you something for their life."

Arthur looked at them with a serious face even though they looked at him with shock. They never imagined Arthur would stand up for them in front of the judge. Moreover, he even said he would fulfill his request which was wild.

" Arthur, what are you doing?"

Ajak motioned him to go away but he didn't budge a bit. His gaze was directly focused on the being who held galactic in his palm.

" Silence! Human, I acknowledge your bravery but your kind made their choice. You have no power to change my decision. I will pass my judgment next time I come here."

His deep voice echoed in the space despite there being no air. It seemed like he was using something to do that but it was just the extent of his power.

" Then invest in me. I won't try to intervene in your next arrival as much as possible."

Arthur had to close his eyes for this one because this meant he wouldn't be protecting his world even if he came to destroy it. However, that didn't mean he wouldn't prepare for it.

"..."

Arishem fell into deep thought, thinking it was a good deal. Honestly, Arthur was a headache for them due to his cockroach-like tenacity but now he was volunteering to be out which was a great chance for him. Furthermore, he didn't intend to destroy them in the first place.

" Fine. We will make a deal."

Arishem agreed with him, taking them away to the celestial gathering as Arthur stood there with a calm face.
