The duo went further into the northern hemisphere and reached the outer barrier of the research facility that was located in the Amazon rainforest. No one on this planet would have thought there would be a huge research facility that was researching powerful technology and old relics here.
Unfortunately, the supervillains managed to find out about this facility and they were one inch away from getting access to it.
" Kraven, now you may bring him to us. I believe he has the key for our entrance."
Gao ordered Kraven with a calm tone as the man grinned with a happy face. He jumped in the direction where Clint was and saw his figure on the tree. Clint didn't show any nervous face, loading his bow and firing it at him while taking note of Gao.
He knew this duo would be able to beat him and he decided to retreat for now. However, he miscalculated one thing, right before he jumped down from the tree, Gao used her power to destroy the branch under his feet.
Clint who lost his footing, tried to get up, but he felt a cold dagger on his throat. He couldn't hide his amazement because this man managed to get near him in such an unbelievable manner.
" As expected you were boring. I would have preferred Tony Stark or Steve Rogers, but it is alright."
Kraven muttered lightly, picking him like he was a rag doll. Clint who couldn't move due to his ropes, used his ring to cut the rope, but this rope was a synthetic rope that was specifically prepared for superheroes.
" Useless. Do you think I didn't notice your moves? Even I couldn't break free from it, much less you."
He said with a sigh, dragging him to Gao. Clint seemed to accept his loss as he hung his head with depression because he lost way too quickly.
" Clint Barton. Your fame preceded us. I never thought I would manage to face one of the original Avengers. Do I have to say that I am extremely lucky to meet with the weakest member?"
Gao said with sarcasm as she threw him down. She searched through his body, not finding any useful items, and looked at him with a deep frown.
" Spill it. Where is the gate and how do I enter it?"
She stomped on his head, expecting an answer from him. Clint groaned with pain, but he never looked away from them because he wasn't afraid of them.
" I am too old for this, lady. If you think that you can get the beans from me, try harder."
He laughed with a cold face despite his face being squashed. He could feel the boots crushing his head, but he wasn't afraid of her.
Crack*
Right before Gao managed to kill him, a single hand reached to her and swung her like she was some kind of an insect. A man with blue tights and a red cape descended down to them with a calm face.
" You okay, Clint?"
He handed him medicine as he pulled him up from the ground. Clint looked at Clark with gratitude and nodded at his words.
" Barely. So, the warp technology has been successful, huh?"
He dusted himself as he looked at Gao and Kraven. Clark laughed at his words despite seeing the enemies in front of him.
" Yes, we did it. I heard you were in danger, so I rushed here. Looks like you have met troublesome figures."
Clark folded his arms like a final boss from the game, scanning them with a sharp gaze. Before they could attack him, he appeared right before Gao and knocked her out easily. Moreover, he froze Kraven who was yelling at him.
Clap*
" That is done. Well, it wasn't that much difficult."
He muttered lightly, trying to collect them, but something extra fast bypassed him and took them away like a mirage. Clark who noticed this immediately furrowed his eyebrows, guessing the identity of the figure. No matter how hard he tried to deny it, he could tell who he was exactly despite not knowing how he managed to get here in the first place.
" We have to go. I have bad news."
