" Only once. I don't like to deal with criminals or a being that cheer them on."
Arthur said, signaling them to show them full intelligence of them. He saw the images of them and their abilities of them. They were high-ranking demons that had notoriety in hell, but in front of Arthur who was a demon king, they were nothing.
Every form of Arthur's demon transformation could completely wipe out the city if he wanted to do it. However, he wasn't a murderer or a monster, his heart wouldn't allow him to kill anyone except for his enemies.
" So, who are we going to start with? I mean you can take them out easily, right?"
Constantine asked, yawning with laziness. The couple rolled their eyes when they saw his expression. They thought he was messing with them since he had the power to stop at least half of them at the same time because he was a great mage with a great arsenal and wit.
" Stop messing with us. Just guide them to us."
Diana spoke calmly, leaning on the wall with a serious face. The time wasn't waiting for them as they were running out of time. She had to visit a couple of worlds with Arthur and prepare Vera for upcoming training.
" Well, it is easy for you to say. They would try to kill me when they see me."
Constantine smiled wryly, knowing demons would try to harvest his soul because he scammed them too many times. Especially, the hell wasn't a great place to live because he visited there countless times.
" Relax, it isn't that hard. I will just send them a message via magic energy. They should come here pretty soon."
Constantine's smile instantly crumbled when he heard Arthur had sent a message to them. His legs started to shift to the exit, but Arthur grabbed his collar and forced him to sit. He tried to use force and magic at the same time, however, he found he was bound by some sort of sealing magic. Furthermore, Diana tied him like a dog on a leash.
Swoosh*
The warehouse immediately lost its light, beckoning something was there outside. The cruel growls of demons reached their ears as they saw a couple of demons barging through the door with their claws.
" John Constantine, your time is up."
One of the demons said, licking his tongue with pleasure. He didn't regard the couple next to him as enemies since he was a high-ranking demon. Although he was wary of Constantine, the couple seemed to be dealt with with ease.
" I was first, Castell."
They argued with each other, forgetting Arthur who was watching them with cold eyes. With a single snap, the door was closed as the demons saw Arthur who turned into a demon. Two menacing horns with jet-black armor. He excluded power exclusive to the hell ruler.
" This!"
Before they could run away, Diana blocked their way. She raised her sword and looked at them like they were filth.
" Either go back to hell by yourselves or we will send you back."
The cold words of her send chills down their spines. They never thought this would be an ambush like a few years ago and they felt hopeless because they were facing against a demon king.
" Get through her. I will rather face her than him."
One of the demons yelled with fear, trying to kill Diana, but with a single slash, she beheaded him like it was nothing. Diana wasn't going to hold back today due to their identity. She wasn't as merciful as Bruce or Clark, as she was more fair and just like Arthur.
" You shouldn't have gone here. Your greed would spell your end."
Constantine said, rubbing his wrists with anger on his face. He was thinking to take out his anger on them since there was no way he could beat the duo.
A chant of Latin flowed out from his mouth, creating a static field that shocked them. Before they could tear him apart, Arthur appeared in front of him.
" Go back to hell. Think about living here once again. You won't get a second chance again."
He spoke coldly, opening the gates of hell. Without hesitation, he threw them back to where they belonged and closed the gates of hell before someone manages to slip. However, this wasn't the end.
" What a great show!"
Lucifer stepped out from the darkness, smiling brightly under their gazes.
