" So, you said you were heroes because you wanted to inherit my mantle as a hero."
Arthur said, looking at his children with a calm look. Although he was nervous at first, this feeling slowly faded away when he heard about their childhood. Basically, they were the new generation of heroes after 2 generation of heroes that was born after Avengers. Even though their ages were young overall, they had more potential than the old-generation heroes and they were more powerful than them despite lacking experience.
" Yes, eldest brother Kyle trained us to be heroes. He said warrior and hero had a fine line between them and father stood as a hero because he was merciful and honest."
James who had his mother's intelligence replied calmly, knowing Arthur would appreciate his words. As a child of the head administrator, he was trained to more strategic than his siblings. Therefore, naturally, he took the role of their leader and strategist.
" Huhu, I am proud of you. Should we have some fun after our meal?"
Arthur said despite the death glares of his wives. He was eager to see his children grow and he was expecting great things from them since he could subtle amount of energy in the air. They weren't trained in all combat styles like him, but Arthur could tell each of them had great expertise in their fields by looking at their bodies and eyes.
" Don't hurt them, son. They aren't tough like you."
Camilla said, looking at him with a gentle gaze while thinking about Arthur's training regime. Honestly, most of the heroes suffered under his brutal training and they were afraid to fight him. Even without his superpowers, his hand-to-hand combat style was one of the strongest in the world, surpassing many combat specialists.
" Don't worry, mom. They are my kids, I think they can take one or two hits from me. Besides, you know I rarely use my full power, right?"
Arthur smiled, wiping his mouth with napkins. Alfred poured him wine to cleanse his throat and warm him up. He knew Arthur would beat his children up, but that was who he was. No matter what happens Arthur would always take precautions.
" Brother, you can't be serious. Let me join their team."
Eliza spoke lightly, trying to balance the power or at least give them an edge. Fortunately, Arthur agreed to her request, thinking it would be a good chance to see her growth as well. Only Lorenzo and Hela didn't do anything because they were on side of him.
" Ah, by the way, bring all heroes to the stadium. We will see our new generation's level."
This statement immediately made them nervous since they never fought other heroes and guardians before. Especially, they heard some of them were extremely hard to talk and deal with.
" Hmm, that is a good idea. I think they would benefit from this sudden confrontation, but don't you think it is too sudden? We only rested for a few hours."
Tyrande replied, folding her arms while looking at the children and Kyle who was begging his mother with his eyes. He believed his siblings had no chance against their father, knowing they would lose so badly despite their powers.
" I agree with her. At least do it after a week when you finish your trips around other worlds."
Natasha spoke calmly, giving her daughter a wink. Alexia blushed when she saw her mother being overprotective of her and she was a little bit disappointed since she wanted to meet her father's expectations the most.
" It is decided then, husband. We can have fun after a week of rest. We will notify the rest of the kids who want to participate in the training session."
Hill said gently, sipping her wine while looking at Arthur with daggers which forced him to shut up. He was sweating under the coercion of his wives, thinking he would be dead tonight if he dared to challenge them here.
" Pity, Lothar was ready for the battle. I trained him to be the next ruler of Asgard after all."
Hela mumbled, deliberately showing her annoyance in the matter. Among the children of her husband, her son had the most potential after his eldest brother except he for being a little introverted. He had the power of both death and life which made him immensely powerful among the young heroes.
