" Finally, I can do it. It was well worth my time and sacrifice."
Thanos laughed, revealing the power of the gems as he pushed down all heroes who were trying to stop him from making his move, including Captain Marvel, Thor, and Ironman. They felt familiar energy sweep through their bodies as they saw the horror of this undying monster.
" Before my snap, I should do justice for my people."
Thanos sighed, aiming at the fallen heroes and spirits with his beam. The mages followed by the dead army tried to block the beam with their magics and bodies, the beam was just too powerful as it shredded through everything only blocked by a single man who stood with his shield.
Steve roared with anger and pain, desperately trying to block this beam from killing his people.
" I will help you."
Strange said, creating a barrier next to him. His stand inspired all heroes, uniting them under one command.
Swoosh*
The beam finally subsided, showing horrible emptiness on its way to the heroes. Their faces were paled by their energy drainage and they had no choice but the embrace themselves to face the next beam with their bodies.
" I applaud for your bravery. You earned my respect humans of Earth."
Thanos shouted, gathering his energy once again. This time even the greatest spirits like Qin and Hassan couldn't do anything except for watching due to their exhaustion. They saw Tony's armor fall apart from its continuous shock and others who were exhausted from either defending their teammates from the beam or attacking this monstrous undying titan.
" Master, where are you? We are too tired to fight back."
Mordred sighed, taking off her helmet to show her ghastly pale face. Her arms were trembling with pain, yet she braved herself to stand again with Artoria and other spirits.
Jeanne stood before them while raising her banner to show they aren't done yet. There is still hope remaining in this world and as long as they can buy time for him, it was well worth it.
" We are the swords and tools of our master to protect this world. We will gladly die for his noble goal."
Merlin said loudly, looking at the astonished heroes who were trying to get up. However, Merlin used his magic to stop them as he knew their existence was critical to the world.
" What are you doing, Merlin? We are friends."
Thor shouted with despair on his face. He was trying to burn those vines that were holding him down, but they kept growing back.
" Listen, heroes of Earth. Don't forget our sacrifice."
Gilgamesh unfolded his arms as he poured every drop of energy into his sword. The noble phantasms opposed the energies of the gems, blocking them. The heroic spirits fell to their knees as they looked at the approaching beam. Perhaps this was their true end and that wasn't bad to them.
" Do you think that is a little far-fetched, don't you?"
Suddenly, a man with blonde hair appeared before them while shielding them with his sword. He looked at the titan who was consumed by the madness of power. He lost his reason and noble goal in front of the ultimate power.
Zzz*
A red laser hit the titan before he could attack once again. Clark flew over them with a sonic boom, hitting Thanos with a punch that was able to knock Doomsday out.
" I really don't like dead monsters."
He frowned, folding his arms while floating above his head with a serious face. Thanos gritted his teeth, knowing his plan was spoiled by these unknown bastards who appeared from nowhere.
" Don't joke with me!"
He spoke coldly, flying to Clark whom he viewed as the most dangerous one after feeling his hit.
Before his punch connects to his face. Something green smashed him down to the ground again.
" Sheesh, wait for us."
Hal complained, retracting his green hammer back to his ring as he stood there with his teammates. Justice League was here and their goal was to stop this monster from wiping out half of the universe.
" He must be at his end. Diana, try to bind him; Captain Marvel, distract his attention to yourself. Cyborg and Flash, assist him as best as you can. Hal and Clark, do more damage to his body in case. I will try to bring more heroes back. As for spirits, you can do as you fit. I believe you are capable enough to handle yourselves since we don't have much time."
Bruce commanded, running back to the fallen heroes.
