" It is all or nothing. We will fix our mistake and bring him back to us."
Steve said, buckling his helmet down to his head. Unlike before there was a symbol of a sword on his helmet, indicating he was going to bring back the person who gave him another chance.
" Don't die."
Nebula spoke, pressing the buttons with others. They felt sick as they shrank through the barriers of space and time, violating the laws of physics, but that didn't matter. They were going through this hell because they wanted to fix their past.
Swoosh*
Tony opened his eyes with a headache. He looked around to get the gist of where he was and he found he was pretty close to the former tower of Avengers. He cleared his throat.
" This is Tony. Where are you guys?"
He asked, looking around himself with a deep gaze. He was trying to find a way to camouflage himself, so he can steal the space cube from his past self.
" I am near the tower. We need to move fast because I remember this time. We have only a few minutes to get the hell out of here."
Steve replied, recalling the past event vividly. He instantly remembered he was going to hand over the space cube to the S.H.I.E.L.D soon. There was no way to prevent that, so he was thinking about the most logical assumption here and that was beating his past self up. Technically he was much stronger and more experienced than his former self, thus he wasn't worried about that much. His only worry was Arthur who was capable of sensing him in the tower, though he was much weaker than his prime, he wasn't going to underestimate him because he was able to hold him off until others arrive. Hence, he had to be extremely cautious in this mission.
" You two, grab the space cube. I will go to the sanctuary to meet the old master."
Bruce said, jumping on the roofs with extreme agility. After getting used to his new body, Bruce was confident enough to avoid any problems in the city due to his intelligence. He also knew some magic thanks to Wong who taught him his weakness and introduction of the magic. Although he couldn't use it, he was pretty confident enough to escape from it even though they were elder-level sorcerers.
" Roger. Be quick, otherwise, things would get muddy."
Steve replied, pulling his shield out from his back. He wasn't going to show any mercy to himself.
" I will be at the lobby with Scott, Steve. He is next to me. We will attract others, you do your job."
Tony spoke, hitting the special force unit in the alley. He stealthily lured him here and knocked him up since there was no way to blend in.
" Man, you beat him roughly. At least leave with him with his pants."
Scott said, looking at the soldier with pity in his eyes. He knew Tony had studied self-defense so he was able to stand his ground against Simon and Soap who taught him about special force hand-to-hand combat style.
" Man, shut up. It is hard to do this."
Tony scolded him, tying up the man with the hanging ropes that he found in the bin in the process. The smell of rope was so horrible that he had to pinch his nose while tying him up.
" Sorry. So, how are we gonna attract Arthur's attention before he busts up our asses?"
Scott asked, knowing Arthur could see through their camouflage with ease. That man was an abomination in his early years too. Thus, Scott had no idea to fool him.
" Through my past self. Although I don't want to do it, you have to unplug his core. Then jump into my pocket before he sees you."
Tony gulped, looking at young Arthur who was smiling while talking with the agents. A sword was hanging around his belt, so he also had to disarm him accidentally which was a tad bit more difficult than Scott's mission.
" Got it. I hope you will make it alive."
Scott said, standing on his finger with a complicated look. He was sure that Hank would scold him to death after this mission.
