Nyssa took the report as she skimmed through it with a serious look. Unlike 5 years ago, she was now fully matured and she proved herself to be a capable lord among the vampires. Despite the old faction, Nyssa completely took over the new faction and suppressed their old enemy werewolves before they could strike them.
She rubbed her temple with distress because she kept getting bad news recently. The most obvious reason for this news was the tied disappearance of Arthur who kept the tab on the dark forces and human to superhumans' conflict. Without Arthur's blood suppression many new vampires dared to challenge her authority and the conflict between humans had created vacancy of their reinforcement.
" Damn it, if It wasn't lord Arthur's disappearance, we would have easily taken control of these vermins."
Nyssa said, throwing her pen with anger. However, the sound of the pen hitting the floor didn't appear as a blue hand reached out to grab it. Azshara walked beside her and lifted her chin with amusement.
" What is wrong, little one? Are you perhaps missing my lord again?"
Azshara asked, knowing Nyssa adored Arthur. She knew Arthur's bloodline had an effect of attracting female vampires. She especially, she loved it when Arthur was close to her.
" Advisor, I need you to clean out a few dogs in the wild. We have received a quite lot of complaints about them."
Nyssa said, handing out a printed image of a werewolf to her. Azshara took the picture with a smile and handed slipped it into her pocket. Tonight would be a fun night for her.
Somewhere near NY city, 5 figures were sitting around the table while watching the news with indifference.
" Live at Manhattan. We are currently visiting the crime scene where the cartels had battled against each other yesterday. There were 10 casualties and 21 injured on the scene."
Matt turned off his TV while taking out his phone. He sent a text to Quake who was supporting their with information since the incident.
" It is confirmed that it is Kingpin. He changed the area to erase the evidence."
He said, showing the image of a few figures in the dark. They saw the familiar faces and some showed a slight change.
" We should have killed him when we had the chance. The leader would have agreed with my words since I meant no harm to society."
Frank Castle spoke while inspecting his gun with a sharp look. As one of the sharpest swords in Eden, he despised these villains and showed no mercy towards them because he believed there was no way they would change and they had already done the deed. Besides, dead men tell no tales.
" You are speaking nonsense again. Although I agree to kill some of them was a wise choice, they are still humans. Also, don't use the leader's name here."
Luke said, showing his strong sense of duty and discipline to him. He respected Arthur the most in the world since he saved him and gave him a new life. Therefore he never allowed anyone to taint his name even if they wet his colleagues.
" Calm down both of you. Kingpin is indeed trouble, but we have a bigger problem on our hands."
Danny spoke while trying to ease up the tension between the two. He knew both of them were stubborn in their perspective ways, so he wanted to avoid creating trouble in the future.
" You mean those ninjas? All I know is that they lost to Arthur pretty badly in his early years, right? I heard Arthur destroyed almost every branch of them globally with Avengers."
Jessica commented on her thoughts with a grin. The hand was a powerful opponent to them, but once they hear about Avengers, they will go hiding like rats in the sewer due to their past.
" Don't underestimate them. Even though Arthur had destroyed them, they had survived under his observation. You can't possibly think they are that weak after fighting against them."
Matt warned her while touching his chest.
During this conversation, the protest was going on in Washington D.C. People were holding signs that were painted red. They were shouting to exterminate the mutants in their land since most of the mutant villains caused countless destruction on their soil after the disappearance of Arthur.
