Tony opened the door and turned his head around to look them in the eyes. Unlike his flashy appearance, he was tired and disheveled. Moreover, his eyes were hollow, devoid of any emotion. Perhaps he was cutting ties with them at this moment since there was nothing to connect him except for Arthur's family.
" He was my little brother. We have laughed and cried together for 10 years. He was always there for me when I needed him unlike you so-called greatest heroes on Earth. He lived for the people of this planet. The funny thing is he died for the useless bunch who couldn't save him in the end."
He laughed coldly, closing the door with indifference. He had enough of these morons who kept their heads up high because of their immense pride. They cost him his family and he was too tired to see them again.
Steve looked at Pepper and tried to reason with her, but Pepper directly refused his approach.
" Steve, we have believed in you. I believed we would have our usual Saturday night, watching shows together while eating snacks, but he is gone. You have cost our family. I will protect my remaining family."
She spoke, closing the door with a loud sound. Steve looked at their backs with the complicated looks since he had no power to change their decision.
Carol patted his shoulder while taking the item from the table. She didn't know Arthur, but she could tell he was the spiritual pillar of the entire community. He had led these arrogant people and guided them to a better place.
Another month passed after Arthur's disappearance. The world was slowly restoring its way despite the darkness. People were trying to live and survive under extreme circumstances. Many mourned for the deaths of countless and many enjoyed creating chaos after the symbol was gone. The balance that Arthur was keeping, had been lost since the heroes were busy due to various problems. They couldn't keep tabs on the dark organizations and villains.
Meanwhile, Eden was busy once again. Steve was looking at his newest technology which might bring them back. However, even the brightest scientists couldn't think of a way to escape from the physical laws.
" Damn it, I have failed again. Bruce, any progress?"
Scott shouted, scratching his head with anger. The snow-white dandruff fell from his hair because he hadn't had a proper shower for weeks. He was stuck in this laboratory for a month. He didn't have time to watch his daughter due to his busy schedule.
" Nothing here. I couldn't break through the simplest barrier of space yet much less time. How could he think a way of this space technology?"
Bruce said, raising Arthur's journal of space technology. He couldn't comprehend a single thing because it was that advanced. It required high professionalism in quantum physics along with other physic fields and math. The formula was so complicated that even he couldn't reverse engineer it after a month of intensive research.
" Because Arthur was a genius. His way of thinking was different from the traditional science way."
Stephen Hawking commented while writing formulas on the board with a frown. He could see what Arthur was thinking, but he couldn't think of a way to connect the dots. The complex formula of the most basic technology in the note was already beyond humanity's current technology era. Although he had created these technologies many years ago, it was, without doubt, without doubt an impossible task to replicate them without his help.
" Ah, it is useless. That brat had created something outrageous, involving all scientific fields in a single note. No wonder, he could calculate our formulas and improve them."
Albert Einstein laughed while recalling Arthur's smiling face. He remembered the moment when Arthur had explained the improved theory of space to him.
" Indeed these formulas are no joke. How could he fit these here and why did he even use the golden ratio to change the shape of it? It is similar to art more than physics, but it is working strangely well."
John Wheeler sighed with amazement. His comment also triggered a serious of sighs in the laboratory. Namely, Murray, Vera, Chloe Zhao, and Maya Hansan followed his sigh.
" Maybe we might need Tony's help in this one, Steve. Only he could figure out the relation between the pym particles and space-time connection with Arthur's formula."
Bruce said while taking his glasses off. His words were indeed true since Tony could figure out Arthur's formula after researching for years.
