Chapter 451 - Chapter 77 Devastating monsters

Thanos laughed at her remark since she was foolish enough to ignore his words. Arthur was a great hero, but he couldn't save everyone unlike him. He was giving them a new hope to live. The resources can be exhausted and many were killed for such things.

" You don't know the darkness of the world, elf. You gracefully talk about heroic deeds, yet you were blinded by the faith you hold. How naive of you. The same goes for all of you. Arthur can't save everyone. He will eventually die and all of his creations will create chain of events of destruction. You can't deny that.

" You are wrong, titan!"

Thor shouted, summoning his thunder once again. This time he was aiming for the head while Hulk shielded him from the front. Tyrande backed them with her arrows while Wanda was paving a path for them. Vision kept the gem in his hand to protect.

" I see, you don't have the capacity to understand me. "

Thanos sighed, activating all of his gems. He was ready to finish this fight. He used the reality gem to destroy the spells and thunder and space to block incoming Hulk. Moreover, he used the time gem to destroy the arrows and the soul gem to hold Thor back. Thor felt his soul tearing apart as he roared with pain. He coughed blood, knowing he failed to kill Thanos.

Vision saw the situation was slowly getting worse as he decided to most rational thing to do.

" Wanda, destroy the gem before he reaches us. I will sacrifice my hand for it."

Vision urged Wanda to use everything to destroy the last piece of the puzzle. Tyrande heard his words and quickened her arrows to buy time.

" Got it!"

Wanda focused every bit of her strength in her last spell. The glowing crimson light hit the gem as it was slowly melting away. Thanos's face changed when he saw their plan he charged forward with aggression. Tyrande blocked his way while holding her moon glaives.

" Move elf! For the respect for Arthur, I will keep your life intact."

Thanos spoke coldly, showing his anger for the first time. His patience was slowly running out since he knew Arthur was coming here. He wasn't willing to face berserk Arthur under any circumstances.

" Kill me then. I won't abandon my people."

Tyrande raised her tone while showing her brave side. She was the last defender and she wasn't willing to go down easily, but she forgot one thing. Thanos had the Infinity stones. With a single thought of his, she was banished into the deepness of space.

Boom*

The mind gem scattered into dust as Vision's arm was destroyed along with it. They finally managed to stop Thanos.

" Haa, you fools."

Thanos sighed, shoving weak Wanda to his left. He grabbed the vision and used his time and power to restore the gem. The yellow glowing gem reappeared with his arm to Vision's horror.

" I will take your arm for the compensation."

Thanos crushed his arm even though it was intangible. He took the last gem and embedded it in his gauntlet. The rainbow energy coursed through his veins as he felt the strength of the universe in his hand.

" Thanos!"

Suddenly, he heard a shout as he looked in that direction. He saw Arthur who was in a haggard state. He was holding a beautiful sword and wearing his strongest armor.

" Finally, you are here. I was expecting you."

Thanos smirked with pure happiness. He felt only Tony and Arthur were worthy of his respect.

Most importantly he was willing to prove that Arthur can't protect them forever, so he used the most simple method. He started showing the believers that their God wasn't mighty as they think.

The people around the universe could see the figure of Arthur in their heads. They saw his floating image as he opposed the mad titan alone.

" This will be the last. It is either you or me."

Thanos said, showing his collection to Arthur. Arthur's face didn't change as he pointed at the space.

" Let's take it somewhere. This is my request for you."

He said, gazing at the fallen heroes who were trying to get up. He used his gravity power to pin them down as he flew to the sky. He wasn't willing to sacrifice anyone for his sake.
